Bernard is lighting up the game, such a good footballer to watch. Floats in from the left, picking passes at will. Juninho-esque, if you're old enough.

    Everton 2-0 Burnley

Burnley's first shot on target and a bit of a warning for the hosts. Ashley Barnes is able to flick on a long ball forwards, Chris Wood reads it well and gets there before anyone in blue, he flashes in a left-footed half volley but it's always comfortable for Jordan Pickford to fall on.

    Everton 2-0 Burnley

So much confidence in this Everton team at the moment. Real slick interplay between Gylfi Sigurdsson and Dominic Calvert-Lewin sends Seamus Coleman in on the overlap but his cross is well cut out.

Ashley Barnes then makes a mess of a cross at the other end, prompting the camera person to focus on podcaster Peter Crouch on the bench.

Such a silky player to watch, Gylfi Sigurdsson. He floats an effortless cross in from the right and it needs a good clearing header at the back post to stop Dominic Calvert-Lewin in his tracks. Corner - Bernard slips this time and the ball is out.

Sean Dyche is out and clapping his players on, they've started much better in this half. Everton still well in control though.

Agreed. Replaced Leighton Baines with the minimum of fuss.

That's much better from Burnley, quick counter down Lucas Digne's flank and a low cross in, Morgan Schneiderlin tracks it all the way to toe away from the lurking Robbie Brady. Good game this.

Lucas Digne is looking a steal at less than £20million. And on a 5 year deal. Competent at the back and very dangerous going forward. Shrewd from Everton

The chances keep coming. Everton win a corner at the other end, it's played short to Bernard, his cross finds Michael Keane at the back post but he can't get a clean contact on it.

Richarlison is now down and hurt. This is a concern.

Straight from the off Burnley win a free-kick, it's not dealt with properly and Johann Gudmundsson flashes a left-footed volley wide. Sliced it.

Here come the sides again. Monumentally good Everton, while hopeless Burnley will surely fare better in this second half? The rain is lashing down now. Sean Dyche looks like he's let off steam.

Burnley manager Sean Dyche needs to have a word with his team, whether he gives them 10 minutes in the second half like managers like to do. He'll give them an earful. They need to be brave in possession and show more quality.
