What a day. There's never a dull moment in the Premiership, and today was no exception.

Celtic left it late before beating Kilmarnock to move 12 points clear on a poignant day at Celtic Park.

Hamilton Accies and Livingston share the spoils following a six-goal thriller; 10-man Motherwell floor relegation-threatened Dundee, and St Mirren equalise in spectacular fashion to earn a draw with St Johnstone.

St Mirren boss Oran Kearney: "I wasn't sure it was coming today. We didn't have a spark and looked edgy for the first time in a long while.

"Credit to Danny, he didn't have his best day, but would have been proud of that goal with his right foot never mind his left. Playing with that bit of fear and edginess isn't good and it's important we eradicate that."

Hamilton manager Brian Rice: "I didn't see that coming. We were 2-0 up. For 60 minutes, I thought we were excellent.

"Credit to Livingston, they got themselves back into the game and got themselves in front.

"Great spirit again to keep going to the end, to score in the last minute again. I could never question their commitment. I just thought we were a wee bit naive at 2-0."

Livingston head coach Gary Holt: "I questioned them at half-time, I had a go at them.

"Some of our play was really impressive. We moved it really well at times and we scored three good goals.

"We got caught by the equaliser right at the end. Overall, a draw was a fair result."

Jim McIntyre concedes, on current form, it's "highly unlikely" Dundee will stay up.

"We had a golden opportunity today with the other two teams drawing, to claw some points back, and we blew it, it's as simple as that," the Dundee boss said.

"On our current form it's highly unlikely but there's one thing, we won't stop trying. We'll be doing the exact same next week, trying to attack and win the game. But if we don't get both sides then the outcome will be the same."

St Johnstone manager Tommy Wright: "We knew that St Mirren would fight until the end. They didn't really create a lot in the second half.

"I thought that [when the visitors were ahead] was the end of the game and we should deal with it.

"It [Danny Mullen's spectacular equaliser] is a magnificent finish, and I'm not taking anything away from the lad.

"But it's a 70-yard punt down the pitch, which we should deal with.

"I was right behind it [Mullen's equaliser] and once he hit it, you knew it was in.

"Fair play to the lad, but from our point of view, it should never have got to that situation."

Dundee manager Jim McIntyre sounds pretty dejected as he gives his thoughts on Sportsound following a nerve-shredding loss at 10-man Motherwell.

"It's obviously a game we've played a major part in throwing away," he said.

"After Motherwell went down to 10 men there was a real opportunity for us to go and seize the game. We didn't pass the ball well enough.

"The fourth goal's just ridiculous. Players have got to have better game management, they've got enough experience out there to manage the game better in those situations."

Motherwell boss Stephen Robinson: "David Turnbull is top class and is getting better and better by the day.

"He strolled through the game, scored two goals and should've had a hat-trick. He ran the game. For me, he's the young player of the year.

"But, if he does leave this football club, it'll be for a lot of money."

Asked about Jake Hastie's move to Rangers, Robinson said: "I don't announce other people's deals."

"He won't be signing [a new deal] for Motherwell, no."
