  1. 'Mahrez starting a shock'published at 14:15 British Summer Time 12 May 2019

Brighton v Man City (15:00 BST)

    Michael Brown
Former Manchester City and Spurs midfielder on BBC Radio 5 live

Riyad Mahrez starting is a big shock, maybe Kevin de Bruyne was not fit enough, but you thought he would have gone with Phil Foden in midfield or Leroy Sane wide. It is hit and miss because of his consistency.

It is a massive opportunity for Mahrez - it is a game he can do well in. I’m just wondering what Pep Guardiola was thinking about it. Maybe that was that the one position he wasn’t sure about.

  8. 'Can Anfield scatter its magic again?'published at 14:07 British Summer Time 12 May 2019

    Liverpool v Wolves (15:00 BST)

    Steve Wilson
    Match of the Day commentator

So it has come to this - nine months distilled to 90 minutes.

This Liverpool team's ethic was summed up perfectly by Mohammed Salah's choice of t-shirt, external as he joined the throng willing Liverpool to victory over Barcelona.

But can Anfield scatter its magic again? Can Brighton show the same resolve at the Amex against Manchester City? Logic suggests that, at the final whistle, the noise from Anfield will be of defiance and not delirium.

Nuno Espirito Santo's Wolves have already amassed more points than any other Premier League newcomer since 2001. They will finish the season in the top half of the top flight for only the second time in 45 seasons. They are not the opponent Liverpool would choose for such a denouement.

Rather incredibly I'm reliably informed that the lead of the Premier League has only changed hands once on the final day of the season - the Agueroooooooo season when Phli Jones' face dropped at Sunderland.

  11. Tension mounting at Brightonpublished at 14:04 British Summer Time 12 May 2019

Brighton v Man City (15:00 BST)

    Phil McNulty
BBC Sport chief football writer at The Amex Stadium

"Stand Or Fall For Sussex By The Sea" reads the banner behind the goal where Brighton's goalkeepers are currently warming up - and it is the message Manchester City's players will take into today's game.

Manchester City's task is simple and in their own hands but it would be out of keeping with the season - and indeed this week - if this was not a day of nerve-shredding tension.

  12. Salah to retain the Golden Boot?published at 14:03 British Summer Time 12 May 2019

    Liverpool v Wolves (15:00BST)

    Simon Stone
    BBC Sport at Anfield

Mo Salah's presence in the Liverpool starting line-up evidently strengthens his case to retain the Golden Boot.

The Egyptian goes into the final day two clear of Sergio Aguero, team-mate Sadio Mane and Arsenal's Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

Salah aiming to become the first Liverpool player to finish top scorer two years running since Michael Owen.
