Spurs will be the eighth different English team to feature in a European Cup/Champions League final, after Arsenal, Aston Villa, Chelsea, Leeds United, Liverpool, Manchester United and Nottingham Forest. England have had more different teams in the final of the competition than any other nation.

All English champions League final after two incredible semi's. Possibility of all English Europa League final. With the potential for Lioness success in the world cup following the best showing from the men's team in years? Is this the best season of football in recent memory??

I went to Kiev last year and spent £1050 for the privilege of flying from Manchester to Barcelona and then Kiev. On the way back, due to some issues, we went from Kiev to Rome, Barcelona and back to Manchester. I learnt my lesson and got in quick to get a £560 boring flight straight from Liverpool to Madrid and back this time.

Ervianto: Still couldn’t believe it. I am a lifelong Spurs fan, still remember it when Spurs fighting for relegation in the end of 90s

Sonjahaha: I’m #LFC, external through & through, bouncing since Tuesday night, shouted down the telly in shock last night, wow #Spurs, external, wow! My husband, a #Gunner, external, stayed silent, than stared at me & said: “You are not allowed to lose, or I’ll burn all your Liverpool stuff!” Ok then...

Looking ahead to tonight - Chelsea are level with an away goal, while Arsenal are leading their tie 3-1... I worry for them.

  8. Why Champions League semi-final comebacks show unique pull of 'tribal' footballpublished at 13:21 British Summer Time 9 May 2019

Football is tribal. The pleasure comes not only from winning but from seeing others lose.

You can love your team and yet detest one a few miles away in the same city supported by people just like you.

But sometimes football connects us rather than pushing us apart. Things happen that only make sense if you are one of those in love. You see the success of others and you understand how it feels, and you share a piece of it too.

We all remember certain people from our past purely for the teams they support. A goal goes in and you think about someone you haven't seen for years.

    Here's Tom Fordyce's full piece.

  12. Can you name the starting XIs for Man City and Liverpool on the final day of 2013-14?published at 13:09 British Summer Time 9 May 2019

The last time a Premier League title race went down to the final day, it also involved Manchester City and Liverpool - as it will this weekend.

Manuel Pellegrini's City beat West Ham 2-0 on 11 May 2014 to stay two points clear of Brendan Rodgers' Liverpool, who had beaten Newcastle 2-1.

Can you name the starting XIs of City and Liverpool that day?

Both comebacks were unreal in their own rights. Liverpool to score 4 without reply against the a Barca team with the best player in the world in Messi, with such a powerful and dominant display when no sane person could have foreseen it. Spurs 3-0 down away from home against an amazing Ajax team that had put Real Madrid and a Juve team with Ronaldo to the sward, to score 3 second half goals with a 96th min winning hat-trick from Moura was unreal and with the context of the late winners and VAR alternate world decisions it's truly unbelievable that they take their place in the final. There doesn't have to be a best here. Both 10 out of 10 for disbelief levels.
