I'm a Spurs fan in Cheddar, my twin brother a Liverpool fan in Eastbourne. He won't come and watch the game with me because of 'prior commitments'. Poor.

    James

Well one thing we can be sure of with this years Champions League Final is that, only the last 5 minutes of play, is going to be when the game actually starts!!

    Lindsay McNeil, Exeter

I will be a big Spurs fan come June 1st. Be my worst nightmare if City won the league and Liverpool win the CL in the same year, on the flip side will be rather satisfying watching Liverpool come runners up for both.

    Danny, Manchester

  7. Tottenham & Liverpool's comebacks: 'Tactics were replaced by heart and desire'published at 11:27 British Summer Time 9 May 2019

    Ajax 2-3 Tottenham

    Darren Fletcher
Former Manchester United midfielder for BBC Radio 5 Live

I have never seen a reaction like that from a manager before, he was sobbing like a baby, on his knees. It was almost like his years of management all just came out in that moment. It shows how much it means to him, probably because he thought it would never be done.

The result wasn't tactical - it was just pure heart. There was no formation, it was just giving it everything to try and get to a Champions League final, and they have managed to do that.

Sometimes football can be thrown back to that. The basics - heart, emotion, desire, running your opponent into the ground - will always outdo tactics.

The culmination of both is the perfect scenario, you get your tactics spot on with a gameplan that works. But ultimately it is 11 v 11 and if you are better than your opponent, and you come out dominating them, running them into the ground, you will win the football match.

    More here.

Now surely an all English final should mean it should be played in England at Wembley #bbcfootball, external

    Ajax 2-3 Tottenham

Lucas Moura "deserves a statue" after his hat-trick took Tottenham into an all-English Champions League final, says team-mate Christian Eriksen.

Ajax led 3-0 on aggregate - but Moura's goals, including a 96th-minute winner, tookTottenham through on away goals to face Liverpool on 1 June.

Moura himself called it "the best moment of my career".

Eriksen said: "It was a ridiculous game; we were really far down, we tried to fight back, we were just lucky."
