  1. 'We deserve to win a trophy this season' - Sarripublished at 12:44 British Summer Time 9 May 2019

Chelsea v Eintracht Frankfurt (20:00 BST)

    Chelsea

Europa League semi-finalists Chelsea "deserve" to win a trophy this season, says manager Maurizio Sarri.

The Blues, beaten on penalties by Manchester City in the Carabao Cup final, only need a goalless draw at home against Eintracht Frankfurt to reach the Europa League final.

The Germans went ahead in the first leg before Pedro equalised to make it 1-1 and give Chelsea a vital away goal.

Sarri will be without midfielder N'Golo Kante because of a hamstring injury.

    Chelsea's match preview is here.

Bit of a dilemma in my house...My wife and I have a baby due on the 1st June...worse still I can't get my mother in law to cover me at the birth since she's a Liverpool fan!! Still they say that only 5% of babies arrive on their due date...I can't remember the last time something with such long odds actually happened ;-).

  3. Europa League 'attractive to win' - Emerypublished at 12:38 British Summer Time 9 May 2019

    Valencia v Arsenal (20:00 BST)

    Arsenal

The Europa League has become an "attractive" tournament everyone wants to win, says Arsenal boss Unai Emery.

Emery's side hold a 3-1 advantage over Valencia after the first leg of their semi-final with the second leg taking place in Spain on Thursday.

The Spaniard won the trophy three times as Sevilla boss and says the incentive of a Champions League spot for the winners has improved the tournament.

"It's an attractive title and it's getting more attractive," said Emery.

  16. 'Poch is a great manager'published at 12:00 British Summer Time 9 May 2019

    Ajax 2-3 Tottenham

"I could not believe it. What an amazing performance, putting so much energy in the game and keeping their faith to the end," Ginola added.

"Pochettino has been criticised so long about not winning any silverware. But his coaching, putting (Fernando) Llorente on, made the whole difference.

"This is why Pochettino is a great manager, because he can see when the team is not performing well and he has the ability to change the team in a second.

"When Llorente went on, all the lights went on as well - Son, Ali, Eriksen and Lucas Moura.

"It was the first time in the Champions League this season you saw Ajax struggling.

"They had great performances against Real Madrid and Juventus, but in the second half you could not recognise the players from Ajax."

  20. 'Spurs have all the bits and pieces to be a great club' - Ginolapublished at 11:49 British Summer Time 9 May 2019

    Ajax 2-3 Tottenham

"Every single person now realises that Spurs are one of the clubs to take into consideration," former Tottenham winger David Ginola told talkSPORT.

"Spurs have got every bits and pieces to be a great club. They have a great training centre, a great stadium, and now they've got a great team.

"Pochettino has not spent a penny in the last year-and-a-half, probably the only team that have not spent a lot of money on players.

"This is the reward for stability, players getting to know each other in training, this is how you get results."
