My brother in law passed away suddenly in January aged 38 - he was a life long Spurs fan. He left behind my sister who is Liverpool through and through. Call it destiny, call it fate - either way this is something special. That was for you Kev!

My deepest condolences to you and your family, Rosie.

  5. 'If they do win it Poch could go'published at 07:58 British Summer Time 9 May 2019

    Ajax 2-3 Tottenham

More from Jamie O'Hara on BBC Radio 5 Live this morning:

“If Pochettino wins the Champions League with Tottenham, that is the pinnacle of what Tottenham could probably do and I don’t think he can top that.

"I think his achievement would be done and everything he’s set out to do at Spurs would be completed, so as much as I’d love to say he’s joking but potentially if they do win it he could go.”

  10. 'Everyone thought they were dead and buried at half time'published at 07:44 British Summer Time 9 May 2019

    Ajax 2-3 Tottenham

    BBC Radio 5 Live

Former Spurs midfielder Jamie O’Hara has just been on BBC Radio 5 Live to discuss the match.

"They will have sat down and watched that game the night before as a team in the hotel, and I think that would have given them a little bit of belief that we can do it, we can get something from this game," he said.

"Everyone thought they were dead and buried at half time. They came out in the second half with the desire to keep going, to keep believing that they could get something.

"In the 95th minute, to do something like that was just really, really special. Every single player on that pitch last night will be so proud this morning.

"Pochettino was in tears. It was an incredible moment.

"I even lost it. You never see things that like and we’ve seen it so much this season in the Champions League. It’s incredible."

  13. 'Infinity and beyond'published at 07:38 British Summer Time 9 May 2019

    Ajax 2-3 Tottenham

    BBC Radio 5 Live

BBC Radio 5 Live's John Murray has just been speaking on the station:

"What a night for Tottenham after everything that’s happened this season. The questions that are posed about whether they’re still Spurs, that word that is used to beat Tottenham with.

"The fact that they’ve lost three semi-finals in the last three seasons, the fact that they didn’t sign any players, the fact that they haven’t won a trophy since 2008.

"If you remember before the original tie, Mauricio Pochettino said he wanted his players to go to ‘infinity and beyond’. Well they did that, didn’t they?"

Me and my wife were trying to figure out if there was any connection between England having their best World Cup effort for nearly 30 years and us having 2 teams in the Champions League final. We couldn't figure out whether it was just a coincidence or whether there has actually been an improvement in quality of the English game or perhaps just improved mindset? We will probably never know eh.

  16. Aiming to end an 11-year droughtpublished at 07:26 British Summer Time 9 May 2019

    Ajax 2-3 Tottenham

Tottenham's new stadium welcomed its first fans barely six weeks ago.

Now there's a chance the first trophy they bring to their new home will be the Champions League - which would be their first silverware in 11 years.

Football is a brilliant game, isn't it?

You lot never let me down with your post-match opinions.

Now the initial shock/adrenaline/bewilderment has settled down and you've had a chance to sleep on it (maybe), I want to know:

Can Spurs go on to win the Champions League?

Will Liverpool lose their second successive final?

And last but not least... has this been the dream football week? What's topped it previously?

Just when we thought football couldn't get any better... last night happened.

Liverpool might have done the impossible in 90 minutes, but Spurs clapped back with a "hold my beer" moment and did the unthinkable in just 45 - including a spectacular 96th-minute winner from Lucas Moura.

And just like that, we have an all-English Champions League final.

What a time to be alive.
