  1. 'Their legs have gone'published at 21:59 British Summer Time 6 June 2019

    Netherlands 2-1 England

    Chris Waddle
Ex-England winger on BBC Radio 5 Live

I thought England looked stronger finishing the game but their legs have gone now. The Netherlands are winning the first ball every time now.

  2. Postpublished at 100 mins

    Netherlands 2-1 England

A ragged, wretched few minutes for England. Can they climb from the canvas Fury style?

  3. 'Stones dawdles'published at 21:58 British Summer Time 6 June 2019

    Netherlands 2-1 England

    Chris Waddle
Ex-England winger on BBC Radio 5 Live

It's just sloppy play. John Stones dawdles on it and Memphis Depay should score but it's a great save by Jordan Pickford. I think it's an own goal.

Great defenders over the years knew when to pass it and when to play.

  4. GREAT SAVE!published at 98 mins

    Netherlands 2-1 England

Jordan Pickford to the rescue! Matthijs de Ligt flicks on a corner, Memphis Depay is free and his bullet header is saved by Pickford's arm.

    England all over the shop.

  5. goal

GOAL - Netherlands 2-1 Englandpublished at 97 mins

    Kyle Walker (OG)

What an absolute dog's dinner of a goal! Ross Barkley plays it back to Harry Maguire, who goes back again to John Stones. He has so much time, too much time maybe, he tries a Cruyff turn inside his own area and loses out. Jordan Pickford bails him out with a good save but sub Quincy Promes bundles one in under pressure from Kyle Walker.

A shambles! Given as an own goal in the end...

    Netherlands 1-1 England

Memphis Depay to take. He's scored screamers from this sort of range...

A lusty blow but Jordan Pickford catches it cleanly.

  7. 'I haven't seen a better pass this season'published at 21:53 British Summer Time 6 June 2019

    Netherlands 1-1 England

    Chris Sutton
Ex-Chelsea striker on BBC Radio 5 live

I don't think I have seen a better pass than that all season from Daley Blind down the left hand side.

When the ball did come in John Stones cleared well.

  8. Postpublished at 94 mins

    Netherlands 1-1 England

Harry Kane is well placed on the front post to volley clear a Virgil van Dijk header. The men in orange are looking good again, winning a free-kick in an area their manager would like to have a dig from.

  9. Postpublished at 92 mins

    Netherlands 1-1 England

Well played John Stones, well read to head the ball clear. Donny van de Beek was free as a bird behind him and would surely have scored!

  10. Postpublished at 91 mins

    Netherlands 1-1 England

Jesse Lingard lashes in a low cross which is well claimed by Jasper Cillessen in the Netherlands net. Some tired legs out there now.

  11. KICK-OFFpublished at 90 mins

    Netherlands 1-1 England

Away we go - and the Dutch have brought on Davy Propper for Steven Bergwijn.

Tomas: Glad to see this ‘new era’ England team sticking to traditional values of scoring early, sitting back, conceding, and having a late winner disallowed. Penalties next?

Dan: I was initially a skeptic about the nations league, but the thought of England reaching their first final since 1966 never fails to get you excited

  14. 'Stones switched off'published at 21:47 British Summer Time 6 June 2019

    Netherlands 1-1 England

    Chris Sutton
Ex-Chelsea striker on BBC Radio 5 live

The Dutch really started to dominate in the second half but Gareth Southgate will be concerned over set-pieces because John Stones switched off.

I think England finished strongly so it will be interesting to see if the Dutch are a spent force in extra time.

  15. Postpublished at 21:47 British Summer Time 6 June 2019

If you're just dialling in, Marcus Rashford put England ahead with a penalty after he was fouled by Matthijs de Ligt. But the Netherlands controlled most of the game until De Ligt then powered in a header to equalise.

Sub Jesse Lingard thought he'd won it by capping a brilliant flowing move but VAR said he was offside. And then England had to endure more VAR drama as a handball claim against Ben Chilwell was eventually waved away.

  16. 'England look fitter'published at 21:46 British Summer Time 6 June 2019

    Netherlands 1-1 England

    Chris Waddle
Ex-England winger on BBC Radio 5 Live

England have finished the stronger and they look fitter.

  17. FULL-TIMEpublished at 21:44 British Summer Time 6 June 2019

    Netherlands 1-1 England

We will go again! Extra time and maybe pens to come.

  18. Postpublished at 90+7 mins

    Netherlands 1-1 England

England free-kick in the centre circle. One last chance? No.

  19. Postpublished at 21:43 British Summer Time 6 June 2019

Added time = the best time. In this game.

  20. CLOSE!published at 90+6 mins

    Netherlands 1-1 England

Still we go on. Raheem Sterling curls one in from wide on the left, great effort and it just kisses the top of the crossbar on its way!
