"For me the Premier League is the best league in the world without any doubt, I'm looking forward to playing my first game here. I love the stadiums and the atmosphere.
"As a player I like new challenges, I’m aware of the competition. Walker is a great player but the more competition the more chance of growing as a player. I dream of being the best player in my position and City is a good place to do that."

The view from the fans
Crystal Palace
Terence Ford - Back of the Nest Podcast: "When Wilfried Zaha left Crystal Palace for Manchester United in 2013, he went with the well wishes of almost all that don the Eagle on their chest. Fast forward six years and a potential second departing of the local legend is taking on a completely different flavour.
"Handing in a transfer request 24 hours before the window closes has been met with anger across the CPFC hashtags on social media as the relationship looks set for a messy finish.
"Part of the anger comes from leaving us little time to find an adequate replacement. Ismaila Sarr from Rennes appears to be the chosen replacement, but one blip could see the deal collapse leaving an already toothless attack woefully short for the start of the season.
"Personally, I don’t know if I want Wilf to stay and repent for his wrongs or for us to rip off the plaster and look to the future, replacing him with two 21-year-olds in Sarr and Fyodor Chalov from CSKA Moscow. With the average age of the squad pushing towards thirty, the footballing Gods know we need it."

Brighton & Hove Albion
Brighton manager Graham Potter ahead of their match with Watford: “Neal Maupay has settled in well, he's come into the group and shown his quality. It's a good group to come into and he's done well so far.
"We can only focus on our own work and what we're trying to do. We know it's the start, but you always have to be competitive and get results, no matter which way that is."
The view from the fans
Arsenal
Akhil Vyas, Arsenal Supporters Trust, Board member: "Things have hotted up on the red side of North London. Our squad looks very different to last season with the likes of Ramsey, Welbeck, Koscielny and co all having departed. The signing of Pepe has been the highlight but I'm very excited by Tierney.
"Emery's tactical approach results in the full backs providing a lot of depth and making things happen so having him in and Bellerin back soon will improve Arsenal massively. Luiz is an interesting one - and I think many fans are torn but he is certainly a winner. Interesting time."
Brighton & Hove Albion
Brighton boss Graham Potter is hopeful of getting the move for Huddersfield's Aaron Mooy over the line before the transfer window shuts in just over three hours.

Norwich City
Norwich City manager Daniel Farke, ahead of tomorrow's game at Anfield: "I can't speak highly enough of Jurgen Klopp. He's a world-class coach, and the job he's done at Liverpool is outstanding.
