The view from the fans
Southampton
Lucy Highnett, Total Saints Podcast: “It looks like a quiet day for Saints today, despite hopes of shrinking a bloated squad. Charlie Austin may finally end his spell here, after finding himself out in the cold this summer. But the best news of the day, more or less regardless of what happens with player transfers, is Nathan Redmond's new contract. Saints fans have got used to selling their best talent and there were genuine fears he could leave for a reduced fee next summer. Now we can all enjoy more sparkling performances from the fans' and players' player of the season!”

I don't expect loads to happen at Leicester City today.
The Dennis Praet deal is close to being completed and I'd expect some of the 'fringe' players to have movement today.
I understand Callum Elder could be heading to Hull City on a permanent deal.
