Norwich v Man City (17:30 BST)

Tammy Abraham moved to the top of the Premier League scoring charts with his hat-trick today. He has seven with Sergio Aguero just behind on six.

Aguero has scored in Manchester City’s four Premier League matches this season; only two players have ever scored in a club’s first five matches of a season – José Antonio Reyes for Arsenal in 2004-05 and Wayne Rooney for Manchester United in 2011-12.

  2. 'The players are ready to fight'published at 17:15 British Summer Time 14 September 2019

    FT: Tottenham 4-0 Crystal Palace

    Tottenham Hotspur

Tottenham attacker Son Heung-Min: "We performed really well from the start and created many chances to score, I think the players deserve more than three points today. They helped me a lot at the start of the season, without these teammates I cannot score the goals."

On his two goals: "First goal, Toby's (Alderweireld) ball was really good, I made the run. I made a good touch and the finish was maybe a bit lucky with the post. Second goal, the cross was really good and I hit it really well.

"Winning is always important in football. The players are ready to fight and compete and we are looking forward to big competitions and the Champions League on Wednesday (away to Olympiakos)."

  3. 'That was a bad performance'published at 17:10 British Summer Time 14 September 2019

    Wolves 2-5 Chelsea

    Wolves

Nuno Espírito Santo speaking to the BBC: “That was a bad, bad performance. We started the game well but the mistakes we made, we cannot go and repeat them. We know they cannot happen again. It was defensive errors, the game changed with the goal. We lost concentration. I am dissatisfied. There is no point being angry in them but I need them to get better."

On whether the Europa League is having an effect: "No, it was a challenge we embraced from the beginning. We knew what we needed to do. This was a bad game, we need to bounce back and we need to look forward. We train tomorrow, we will be sticking to the same approach. We need to keep improving."

  4. 'Sore one to concede so late'published at 17:09 British Summer Time 14 September 2019

    Brighton 1-1 Burnley

    Brighton & Hove Albion

Brighton manager Graham Potter to Sky Sports: "We would have liked the three points and apart from the first 20 minutes we were the team that was most likely to win.

"We put such a lot into the game so disappointing to only get one point but the overall performance was promising.

"There is always quality on the pitch that can hurt you in the Premier League. We played well and it's not easy to play against Burnley. It's a sore one to concede so late.

"We had to make a few changes from injuries. Burnley did what they did well. It wasn't quite as simple as turning up and playing well. You could see the improvement from the players. Sometimes you have to hold your hands up to the opposition. We had our own opportunities as well.

"There are always bits to do to do better."

Lifa Nati: The Chelsea goalie and that defence since the depature of Rudiger need to step their game up otherwise it will cost them a lot of games this season. Absolute shambles.

Sho: If I was a Leicester fan I'd be disappointed with that. Never really got going and acted like the inferior team in the first half. Big opportunity missed for them because with the players we had out we would've taken a draw.

  6. 'I hope this is my season'published at 17:03 British Summer Time 14 September 2019

    Wolves 2-5 Chelsea

    Chelsea

Chelsea's hat-trick goalscorer Tammy Abraham: "Today the plan, it worked well. We were disappointed about the Sheffield United game and not coming away with all three points so we brought that disappointment into this game as motivation. We have trained really hard since coming back from internationals."

On his performance: "I hope this is my season. I have to keep working hard in every training session, every game. Every game I want to prove myself to the gaffer."

On defence errors: "We would have loved the clean sheet but there were lots of important moments throughout the game. They are what we need to take forwards. We were great on the counter-attack and now we keep pushing forwards."

  7. 'We don't know when it's over'published at 17:01 British Summer Time 14 September 2019

    Brighton 1-1 Burnley

    Burnley

Burnley goalscorer Jeff Hendrick speaking to Sky Sports: "Putting points on the board away from home is always a good thing. We started the game well but Brighton came back into it.

"We got the goal in the end. I knew I cut it well but I was just hoping. Thankfully it went in and got us the point.

"It will help me remember my 100th game but the most valuable thing was getting the point. We have scored a lot of late goals - we just stick in there. It's the mentally of the group. We don't know when it's over and that's a great thing to have.

"We have started the season brilliantly. We just need to take each game as it comes."
