  1. HALF-TIMEpublished at 18:17 British Summer Time 14 September 2019

    Norwich 2-1 Man City

The whistle goes to signal the end of a very entertaining half.

Manchester City are behind but that late Sergio Aguero goal will give them a lift for the second half.

    Sergio Aguero

Lovely header! Manchester City are back in it!

An effortless move and finish from the reigning champions as Bernardo Silva whips the ball into the box and Sergio Aguero jumps between two defenders to flick the ball into the bottom corner.

Crucial goal for Manchester City to get just before half time.

    Norwich 2-0 Man City

Raheem Sterling, over on the right now, tries to take on Jamal Lewis but the Norwich man is able to knock the ball out for a City throw.

  4. 'Norwich are very calm'published at 18:14 British Summer Time 14 September 2019

    Norwich 2-0 Man City

    Fred Eyre
Former Man City player on BBC Radio Manchester

Norwich are just trying to play the half out, they are being very calm. They want to go into half time with a clean sheet and a surprising 2-0 lead. That said, Man City have not really concerned Tim Krul all that much.

  5. Zinchenko's miserypublished at 18:14 British Summer Time 14 September 2019

    Phil McNulty
BBC Sport chief football writer at Carrow Road

Oleksandr Zinchenko is the symbol of Manchester City's woes in this first half.

He has barely put a foot right and is now being roundly jeered every time he touches the ball after a theatrical fall to the ground following the merest touch from Marco Stiepermann.

It has been a dreadful performance from him so far.

Seth Gogo Egoeh: What is the value of VAR if clear penalty situations such as this one was not given to Norwich City? How lucky could Man City be? It should have been a pen! I'm shocked by the decision!

Richard Cumiskey: How was that not a handball? It hit his arm and impacted the flight of the ball. Intentional or not it's handball

Craig: I thought it wasn't down to having your hand in an unnatural position and was just the fact it hits the hand now, just like any contact with a hand stops the goal, unnatural or not?

    Norwich 2-0 Man City

Four minutes to go until half time. If Norwich can keep Manchester City out until the break then they will fancy their chances of causing a massive upset.

Manchester City are continuing to dominate possession but struggling to find a way past a disciplined Norwich defence.

  8. Postpublished at 38 mins

    Norwich 2-0 Man City

Manchester City have another corner. Ilkay Gündogan takes it but it is another poor delivery. Wasteful from the visitors.

  9. Postpublished at 36 mins

    Norwich 2-0 Man City

The last time Manchester City found themselves 2-0 down was against Swansea in the FA Cup quarter-finals back in March. They came back to win 3-2 but they just don't seem themselves at the moment.

Plenty of time for that to change, though.

  10. VAR

Quick check by VAR and John Stones is deemed not to have his hands in an unnatural position. No penalty.

Norwich players are screaming for a penalty as a ball into the box hits John Stones' hand.

Rezaa Sait: City look absolutely lost without KDB and Laporte!

Bob Moss: Norwich should play with a depleted side every week

Norwich are a breath of fresh air when you compare them to more 'established' Premier League clubs like Palace, Watford, Burnley, Bournemouth etc.. really hope they stay up

  13. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 30 mins

    Norwich 2-0 Man City

Again Manchester City try to serve up a quick response but Raheem Sterling strikes the woodwork.

It is not the reigning champions' day so far.

  14. goal

GOAL - Norwich 2-0 Man Citypublished at 29 mins

    Todd Cantwell

Do NOT adjust your screens - Manchester City are 2-0 down!

It is a brilliant counter-attacking goal as Teemu Pukki is played onside by Kyle Walker as he chases Marco Stiepermann's ball foward and he charges towards goal. It is two against one with Todd Cantwell in support and Pukki plays the pass to leave Cantwell with the task of sidefooting home into an empty net.

    Game well and truly on.

    Norwich 1-0 Man City

    Better from the visitors!

Raheem Sterling delivers a quality ball towards the far post and Sergio Aguero peels away to meet it but just doesn't quite get the right contact and heads over.

  16. Postpublished at 25 mins

    Norwich 1-0 Man City

Manchester City may have dominated possession but they just don't quite look at the races at the moment. Their delivery into the box has generally been poor and they have made a few unforced errors while on the ball.

  17. Postpublished at 23 mins

    Norwich 1-0 Man City

Manchester City are trying their best to muster a quick response - they don't like chasing a game for too long - and they win another corner. Ilkay Gündogan takes it but Tim Krul is off his line and gets enough on it to push the ball away from danger.

  18. 'Ederson should have dived'published at 17:53 British Summer Time 14 September 2019

    Norwich 1-0 Man City

    Fred Eyre
Former Man City player on BBC Radio Manchester

I know it's old fashioned but there was nobody on the post. Ederson should have dived, he made very little attempt to keep it out. it was their first meaningful attack and they got a goal.

  19. Norwich grab the advantagepublished at 17:53 British Summer Time 14 September 2019

    Phil McNulty
BBC Sport chief football writer at Carrow Road

Carrow Road has been thunderous from the kick-off but the noise level has just gone up several notches.

Norwich City have been well-disciplined at the back but are also trusting themselves to get on the ball and pass and have been rewarded with a goal.

Manchester City have been very careless so far and now they have to come from behind.

Rhys: City are rubbish, 1-0 down after 20 minutes... mid table looks likely...

Richard Browne: Each passing minute makes Pep resting KdB look even more odd.

Sulaimon Adelekan: Norwich are giving a good account of themselves. They are settled in to the game and giving Manchester City a run for their money. Brilliant header by McLean.
