Colin Bundred: Liverpool totally devoid of ideas. Don’t look like scoring in a month of Sundays.

Really enjoying the blades back in the Premier league, every game is enjoyable to watch.

    Sheffield United 0-0 Liverpool

We have our first notable moment of VAR as a challenge on Mane in the box is checked. Nothing doing, though, all fair and above board and on we go. Lundstram did slide in a tad recklessly, but even after a few viewings I can't say it was a clear and obvious foul.

Henserson's cross, Henderson's claim. Jordan's ball from the right is into the channel, but home keeper Dean is able to get there first.

With Liverpool briefly down to 10, the home side almost capitalise. Adrian rushes out to try and punch, but he is beaten to the ball by Oli McBurnie, whose header flashes over.

Jordan Henderson has taken some friendly fire, colliding with Joel Matip and perhaps winding himself as he cleared for a Blades corner...

The Reds defence is having to keep its wits about it. Sheffield United look to release Oliver McBurnie in the box, but Virgil van Dijk is alert to intercept. He then has to repeat the trick to prevent Callum Robinson getting a sniff soon after.

Sloppy from Fabinho. Liverpool are probing, seeking an opening with a series of square balls in the home half, but the Brazilian puts way too much on his pass to Trent Alexander-Arnold and the ball skips out of play.

Early pressure from Liverpool, with Firmino just unable to get the ball down to get a shot away. The clearance sets Sheffield United off on another counter-attack, which brings them a corner. But the set-piece comes to nothing as Liverpool head clear.

We've started as we left off.

Can we another half like the first one please lads? That'd be lovely.

The game is back under way. No changes.

Aaron: If criticism is to be levelled at Liverpool for anything, it’s their lack of a midfielder who’s willing to take a pop from distance. This game needs the Ox. Someone who’ll just hit it and not try to overplay because that’s giving Sheffield United exactly what they want.

Eddie Royall: Sheffield absolutely taking the game to Liverpool, great to see them going for it, scoreline doesn't do the game justice!

The first goal is going to be vital in this game. You would think Liverpool will be the ones to get it but you just don't know. Liverpool need to move the ball more quickly, the forwards are not moving well up front, they need to work on that.

    Tottenham v Southampton (15:00 BST)

    Neil Johnston
BBC Sport at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium

It's a proper autumnal day in north London. Rain is in the air but are there storm clouds heading towards Tottenham Hotspur Stadium?

Having followed up defeat at Leicester last Saturday with an embarrassing Carabao Cup exit at League Two Colchester in midweek, Mauricio Pochettino and his players have endured a thoroughly miserable week so far.

Are Pochettino's old club Southampton about to make it even more painful?

Spurs have already dropped 10 points in their first six league games this season and currently sit ninth in the 2019 calendar year Premier League table with 34 points from 24 games - below Crystal Palace, West Ham and Leicester.

Paul Walmsley: Are Sheffield Utd playing with 15 players? Literally everywhere

Alex: Has anyone started a game worse than Trent Alexander Arnold in a game? Lost the ball nearly every time he’s had it.

The last time Liverpool didn't record a shot on target in the first half of a Premier League game was against Brighton in January.

    Liverpool won 1-0.

Matip to the rescue. The ball is knocked in towards Oli McBurnie, but before the Blades forward can plant a header at goal, Joel Matip flings himself in to intercept with his head.

    How have Liverpool not scored?

They have four men in the box, one of which - Mane - is found by Roberto Firmino, but somehow contrives to shoot against the post. The ball ricochets to Firmino, but before he can pull the trigger, a man slides in to whip the ball away for a corner.

Best chance of the game so far, by a mile. Liverpool have still yet to properly hit the target though.

Chance. leaps like a salmon in the box but he can't connect properly with the pinpoint cross from Enda Stevens. His glanced header sails wide.

Soon after, down the other end, Georginio Wijnaldum swings his boot through the ball, but only chips it into the stand behind the goal.

Andy Robertson has a pop, but he can't direct it on target. Well-struck after the ball fell to him about 25 yards out, but the radar needs some fine tuning.
