With all due respect to Liverpool, Leon Clarke scoring with his first touch in the Premier League would have made my day!

FYI - Leon Clarke (34y 230d) is the oldest Englishman to make his PL debut since Chris Luketti (35y 107d), also for Sheffield United against Portsmouth in January 2007.

I suppose Liverpool wasting time is a moral victory for Sheffield United. Not that this gets you any points. They'd rather just have the lost 20 seconds back.

Jack O'Connell jumps to try and head the ball goalwards from the delivery, but it lacks power and Liverpool are able to clear.

The goalkeeper has to take all the blame for that. It should have been so routine the goalkeeper - it is shocking for Sheffield United but great for Liverpool. It just proves that if you hit the target anything can happen.

Oh, almost the breakthrough from Sheffield United. They overload Liverpool in the box and Fleck turns back inside before seeing his shot blocked. The ball ricochets up for McBurnie but he can't get a proper connection with his shot before a cross from the right is claimed by Adrian.

The ding and dong you might be hearing is a proper battle taking place.

Oliver Norwood lines one up... and draws a necessary save from Adrian, diving to his right to push behind.

The ball from the corner falls at Matip's feet and he gets it momentarily stuck under his feet before hacking clear.

The European champions are struggling. And Sheffield United are loving every second of this.
