I was really surprised and disappointed with the way Aberdeen played. They offered very little in attack and were very passive going forward. You sometimes set up in Europe to not concede and try to be difficult to break down. But if you can't do that, still concede and then offer nothing to the game offensively then it turns into a disappointment.

Rangers were ruthless tonight and their goals were outstanding. There were some brilliant individual performances. To go away from home and score four goals against a team we thought could be tricky, that was brilliant.

Michael Stewart: Fantastic results for Rangers away from home in Europe. Scoring four goals is a huge confidence builder. Steady performance at Ibrox and Scotland should have at least one team in the play-off round.
An Antonio-Mirko Colak penalty and a predatory strike by Robert Muric secures victory for Rijeka. The result will test Aberdeen's impressive home form when they seek to overturn a two-goal deficit in the second leg at Pittodrie.
In truth, the Dons showed precious little in front of goal.

With the Dons pushing for an away goal, they've conceded a second. It's a wonderful finish from Robert Muric with a curling left-foot effort that finds its way beyond flying wardrobe Joe Lewis.

Scott Wright and Dean Campbell are on the pitch for Aberdeen and the away side suddenly look far more threatening up front. That may be down to Rijeka deciding they're content with a one-goal lead but it's perhaps the first time we've seen any genuine attacking intent from Derek McInnes' side tonight.
