Derek McInnes will be content that it remains goalless at the break. Although the Dons have by no means looked out of their depth, Rijeka have slowly gained control of this first leg without finding the opener.

Aberdeen just look a little too defensive as they try to keep a clean sheet in Croatia.

In a first half of huffing and puffing, it is a goal of sheer quality that makes the difference at the break.

Both teams shared a handful of half chances, albeit with Steven Gerrard's team pretty much in full control in Denmark. However, with just three minutes to go, captain James Tavernier delivered an inch-perfect cross to Alfredo Morelos to nod home and send the large travelling support into raptures.

A really professional showing from the Ibrox side so far and a precious away goal to show for it. Don't bet against them getting another.

Precious little in the way of goalmouth action in Croatia. That won't faze Dons boss Derek McInnes but an away goal for both Scottish clubs tonight would be a bonus.
