  1. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:34 British Summer Time 15 August 2019

    Rangers 2-0 Midtjylland (6-2)

Just as goalkeeper Hansen denies Ojo with a dipping free-kick, the half-time whistle goes.

    Easy peasy.

  2. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:32 British Summer Time 15 August 2019

    Aberdeen 0-2 Rijeka (0-4)

Jeers ring around at Pittodrie as the half-time whistle sounds. It's been horrendous from Aberdeen.

Will it get worse in the second half?

  3. Disaster for the Donspublished at 20:31 British Summer Time 15 August 2019

    Aberdeen 0-2 Rijeka (0-4)

    Tyrone Smith
    BBC Scotland

The is turning in to a disaster for the Dons, the best thing Aberdeen can hope for at this stage is perhaps that Rijeka start to take their foot off the gas, it doesn't look likely I have to say...

  4. Rangers rout on the cards?published at 20:30 British Summer Time 15 August 2019

    Rangers 2-0 Midtjylland (6-2)

This really has been a stroll for Steven Gerrard's men. As much as he was glowing about the performance in Denmark last week, this one has possibly been even better. The visitors are chasing shadows.

  5. goal

GOAL RANGERS 2-0 Midtjylland (6-2)published at 20:26 British Summer Time 15 August 2019

    Sheyi Ojo

After a brief period of control from the visitors, Rangers break through a Scott Arfield dribble up the park. The Canadian international plays the ball through to Alfredo Morelos, which initially goes out wide but he then manages to turn it in to a cross for Sheyi Ojo to slide in a goal at the front post.

It's going to need a pretty good banner to turn this one around...

  7. McGinn taken offpublished at 20:21 British Summer Time 15 August 2019

    Aberdeen 0-2 Rijeka (0-4)

Aberdeen are making a surprise substitution. Niall McGinn goes off with 17-year-old midfielder Dean Campbell replacing him. It appears to be tactical rather than an injury with the Northern Irishman.

  8. CLOSE!published at 20:20 British Summer Time 15 August 2019

    Rangers 1-0 Midtjylland (5-2)

While Aberdeen fall to pieces at Pittodrie, Rangers are purring along nicely at Ibrox. Alfredo Morelos has just fired wide, while the ball is never that far away from the visiting box.

  9. goal

GOAL Aberdeen 0-2 RIJEKA (0-4)published at 20:16 British Summer Time 15 August 2019

    Antonio Colak

Rijeka again break on the counter. The Aberdeen defence is all at sea, the ball gets lobbed forward to Antonio Colak who heads in at the far post.

  11. 'Aggressive, organised & committed'published at 20:13 British Summer Time 15 August 2019

    Aberdeen 0-1 HNK Rijeka (0-3)

    Tyrone Smith
    BBC Scotland

If anyone thought Rijeka would have arrived in Aberdeen with a 'job done' attitude, they have easily dispelled any such suggestion - with an aggressive, organised, and committed showing in the Granite City.

It's not been a great start for Aberdeen at all. And when you see how easy the referee is giving out those yellows you've got to be on your guard. He's a physical player, Ojo, and he likes to put the tackles in. But his team will now suffer because of it.

  14. RED CARD ABERDEENpublished at 20:06 British Summer Time 15 August 2019

    Funso Ojo

Funso Ojo is red carded after receiving a second yellow card within the first 20 minutes. It looked harsh, though Ojo was certainly second to the ball.

    Oh dear...

    Alfredo Morelos

Surely Rangers have one foot in the next round now.

All the hard work was done down the left by Ojo who picks out Morelos at the back post. The Colombian shifts the ball back inside on to his left and fires into the bottom corner. Easy as that.

Right Aberdeen, don't let us down now...

  17. 'Uphill battle from here'published at 20:01 British Summer Time 15 August 2019

It's a hammer blow for Aberdeen. We talked before the game how they were going to have to throw caution to the wind and get that first goal and keep a clean sheet. To lose a goal so early is going to be hard but they just need to regroup. It's not over until the 90 minutes are done but it's going to be a long, uphill battle from here.

  18. 'Sucker punch for Dons'published at 20:00 British Summer Time 15 August 2019

    Willie Miller

It's a killer blow, a sucker punch - call it what you will but it's a lack of concentration. Acosty has got pace and has been left unmarked out there on the right hand side to advance. That quality cross comes into the near post and little flick into the back of the net to give them the lead and silence the crowd here at Pittodrie tonight.

  19. Pittodrie silencedpublished at 19:58 British Summer Time 15 August 2019

    Aberdeen 0-1 Rijeka (0-3)

    Tyrone Smith

Pittodrie has been silenced by that Rijeka goal.

Aberdeen now need to score 4, the Dons Europa League mountain has got even bigger.

  20. goal

GOAL Aberdeen 0-1 RIJEKApublished at 19:56 British Summer Time 15 August 2019

    Stjepan Loncar

Scott McKenna and Sam Cosgrove both get in each others' way at the far post as Aberdeen threaten. Rijeka race up the field quickly on the counter attack, Maxwell Acosty is left unmarked, and his cross for Stjepan Loncar at the near post gives Aberdeen a mountain to climb.
