The Red Bull Salzburg fans are already in excellent voice, with their goalkeeper given a deafening reception as he headed out to warm up.

It is not easy to see on this picture but they all look to be holding red and white glittery flags, some of which are currently being waved in time to Walk This Way by Aerosmith.

Endyfotini: Obviously, Chelsea will drop points in France and that isn't going to be a shock to me. Conte's Inter Milan will win at Camp Nou and RB Salzburg will share the spoils at Anfield.

NH: Reece James is Trent Alexander-Arnold - just stronger and more aggressive.

It's a big atmosphere, lots of expectation for this game - it's a group of death with Dortmund in as well.

Barca got a draw at Dortmund so whoever loses tonight will be in a tough spot.

It's a bit of a risk to start Messi tonight, he's barely played all season. That shows you how important this game is.

What has saved Valverde so far is the home form - Barca have been outstanding at the Nou Camp. No doubt, he is a couple of bad results away from being under real pressure.

    Liverpool

Liverpool have been fined £200,000 - half of which has been suspended - by the EFL for fielding an ineligible player in their third-round Carabao Cup win against MK Dons last week.

Spaniard Pedro Chirivella, 22, who came on as a substitute in the 2-0 victory, did not have international clearance.

The EFL said it "wasn't appropriate" to expel Liverpool from the competition because of "mitigating factors".

I've just spoken to Red Bull Salzburg fan Alexander Gschwandtner, who has travelled to Liverpool for this game with his father.

I asked Alexander about Erling Haaland, and he said: "He is a fantastic striker. He is just 19 and he is so cool in front of goal. He just scores and scores.

"He plays with so much experience like he has never done anything else. He is confident but always plays with a smile on his face, which I think is important because he is not too arrogant.

"I think it is too early to compare him to Zlatan but I do think he can get the same super stardom of maybe even better."

As for why Salzburg are so good at finding players like Haaland and Liverpool duo Sadio Mane and Naby Keita, Alexander added: Salzburg are really good at scouting.

"They have bases in for example Ghana and Brazil and there players are taught the philosophy of high pressing and quick football that Salzburg have. That makes it easier for when the players come to Salzburg because they already have the understanding of this philosophy."

I've just spoken to Norway legend Jan Age Fjortoft in the media room about Erling Haaland.

Fjortoft is good friends with the Haaland family having played alongside Erling's dad Alf Inge.

"He has got the best from his dad and the best from his mum because he is a quick guy and has a great attitude," Fjortoft said. "He is a goalgetter but not only that, it is the strength and power of his game."

Fjortoft also told me there was no way he was missing this game after getting a ticking off from Erling Haaland after the last round.

He added: "He had a go at me for the last game because I covered Dortmund against Barcelona and he text me before the game saying 'you are at the wrong game Jan'. After the game, when he scored three he text again saying what did I tell you!"

If Haaland is going to impress he is going to have to do it as a substitute. He is on the bench after recently recovering from illness.

    Chelsea

There are three changes to the Chelsea team who played at home to Brighton on Saturday, with Ross Barkley being left out of the squad after he was pictured having a row with a taxi driver on a night out on Sunday.

Midfielder N'Golo Kante starts despite being an injury doubt, while Kurt Zouma replaces Andreas Christensen at the back.

There's also a start for exciting teenager Reece James in what looks like a 3-4-2-1 formation - James operating as a right wing back.

Chelsea XI: Kepa, Alonso, Jorginho, Kante, Abraham, Willian, Zouma, Mount, James, Azpilicueta, Tomori

There are no starts for former Chelsea striker Loic Remy and ex-Swansea loan midfielder Renato Sanches as both have to settle for a place on Lille's bench.

Former Southampton defender Jose Fonte captains the team, while Nicolas Pepe's replacement Victor Osimhen has six goals and two assists in nine games this season.

Lille XI: Mignan, Gabriel, Fonte, Osimhen, Ikone, Araujo, Bamba, Celik, Andre, Soumare, Mandava

The goalless draw at Dortmund last time out made it two successive European games without scoring for Barcelona, for the first time since October-November 2017.
