    England 2-1 Kosovo

Ben Chilwell overclubs a cross from the left. The Leicester man hasn't got his radar quite right thus far.

Kosovo then come forwards and right-back Mergim Vojvoda takes on the shot from range, whistling it into the side-netting.

Kosovo cannot cope with Raheem Sterling tonight.

They are trying to double up but his pace and quick feet are causing too many problems.

I've always thought the national stadium should be in Walsall for geographical ease.

I may well be alone in that view though.

Luke: The problem with Wembley, on top of the tickets is that it costs £90+ on a train if you live over 50 miles away, £150 for over night hotel due to late game finish, and two holiday days at work for midweek games. You get fans at places like St Marys who cant usually go to a game

Ben Dunbar: Why is this #ENGKOS, external game being played in Southampton? A whopping 81 miles from Wembley. When there are 12 bigger stadiums outside of London. All of which would give fans who can't travel to watch England in London a better chance of being able to travel

Matthew Evans: I'm all for a better atmosphere, but what's the point of Wembley, if the games are better away from it? Suggestion: use Wembley for qualifiers, and travel for the friendlies. At least then the stadium is used to purpose, and the fans get a look in too

    England 2-1 Kosovo

Raheem Sterling is a livewire tonight. Most nights. He plays a nice one-two with Jordan Henderson but is knocked off the ball at the crucial moment and the chance is gone.

Sterling then just fails to find Jadon Sancho driving down the right.

Not a lot to enthuse the rather sparse Aviva Stadium crowd thus far. Mick McCarthy's every bellowed instruction can be heard amid the general lack of noise. The Bulgarians had a couple of early goal sniffs with the Republic defence struggling to deal with set-pieces but it's dull stuff so far.

It is all good having possession, but keep going forward. You have to think, can we go on and get that third goal?

Lithuania have just equalised against Portugal, with Vytautas Andriuskevicius heading home via the post.

Portugal are by no means certain of qualification, with only one victory in three games before today.

England still bossing the play but Kosovo are looking a threat when they do get on it. They have delivered what they promised so far. They're here to have a go when they can.

    Republic of Ireland 0-0 Bulgaria

The Republic of Ireland's friendly against Bulgaria is going how you'd expect an international friendly between the Republic of Ireland and Bulgaria to go.

There has been little in the way of goalmouth action, the much-changed Republic are dominating possession but Bulgaria have had more efforts.

Love the fact you record everything in seasons, even time spent living away.

To paraphrase a bit from Fever PItch (the film):

"You can see your sister next season."

    "Sisters don't have seasons."

The Mogo: Lived in Kosovo for six months back in 02-03. Amazing country, wonderful- watched the capital city team Pristina play then, amazing to see their football team grow into this tonight!

DGB: Raheem Sterling is the best player England have had in years. So good that people are recognising it now and paying him the respect he deserves. Especially after the disgraceful media assassinations he had to endure

Jadon Sancho is in the game now, beating his man on the right and then laying it back for Ross Barkley to clip over the bar. England good to watch in attack at the moment.

Ahhhh, brilliant from Raheem Sterling, he has been so lively again tonight.

A great turn on the halfway line and he shows pace as the defenders keep backing off or diving in.

Harry Kane shifts the ball onto his left foot and hits it hard and low.

You expect England to kick on from this.

    This England team score GOALS.

It's all about Raheem Sterling, spinning his man on the halfway line and driving forwards, backing up a defender and then playing in Harry Kane on his left.

Kane shifts it onto his left foot, inside the area, and laces low through the legs of the Nottingham Forest keeper.

Harry Kane has as many England goals as Bryan Robson - 26.

Jordan Henderson's backheel sends Jadon Sancho away, it's cleared back but then Kosovo keeper Arijanet Muric almost has a howler of his own, letting the ball under his foot before just about clearing.

Ross Barkley carries the ball nicely through midfield, beats a man and could maybe get a shot off - but instead plays it wide and in the end Trent Alexander-Arnold's cross is off target. Should do better.

Andorra are still holding France 16 minutes into their game at the Stade de France. The hosts have not even attempted a shot yet.

Andorra have lost all 55 European Championship qualifiers they have ever played in.
