Adam Salter: A lot of people are complaining about Emery, and that he should go/be sacked. His deal runs out at the end of the season (+ option for a third year), so there’s no need to rush into making a decision about him now.

    Brave goalkeeping from Emiliano Martinez.

He dives low to prevent a tap-in as Danny da Costa fires a ball in from the right.

A few moments later, he's forced to make a save from Filip Kostic.

    Eintracht Frankfurt 0-1 Arsenal

Another brilliant break from Arsenal - they are so dangerous on the counter.

It's Joe Willock at the heart of it. The young midfielder runs the length of the pitch before slipping in Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in the box.

The striker takes one touch and hits it but a defender gets back to make the block.

  5. CLOSE!published at 50 mins

    Eintracht Frankfurt 0-1 Arsenal

This is a really shaky restart from Arsenal!

Andre Silva is threaded through in the box and he fires a dangerous effort towards goal. It's only a few inches over the bar.

    Hmm.

  6. PENALTY APPEALpublished at 49 mins

    Eintracht Frankfurt 0-1 Arsenal

Shkodran Mustafi comes sliding in to make a decent tackle after Frankfurt exploit space on the right.

There's appeals for a penalty but I think the referee has got this spot on.

  7. CLOSE!published at 48 mins

    Eintracht Frankfurt 0-1 Arsenal

Emile Smith Rowe is back to defend on the edge of his own box but can't get past two midfielders.

Martin Hinteregger robs it back off him and his ball is straight at Bas Dost. The Frankfurt forward somehow nods it wide... with his shoulder? He was unmarked too!

T Dennis: If you think Arsenal should sack Emery then you really don’t understand the values of the club. It’s not our way, it never has. Keep the faith.

    HT: Eintracht Frankfurt 0-1 Arsenal

Here's Arsenal's heatmap from the first half. Plenty of action happening in their own six-yard box.

But they are getting some enjoyment down the left side when they go forward. Bukayo Saka has been heavily involved.

Arsenal face another corner but this time it's defended well. David Luiz gets the initial headed clearance and the back four step out together, forcing an offside trap.

    Much better.

It's the goal Arsenal needed and they won't care how it comes! They have looked dangerous on the break all half and once again, it was good work from youngster Bukayo Saka.

It's quietened the crowd a little too - but not by much!
