Doherty gets his head on a fine cross from Enda Stevens to make it 1-1. The Republic, once again, need one more goal to qualify. They have five minutes and injury time to get it.

  15. goal

GOAL - Republic of Ireland 0-1 Denmarkpublished at 73 mins

    Martin Braithwaite

Is that the goal that takes Denmark to Euro 2020 and leaves the Republic of Ireland in a four-nation play-off?

Henrik Dalsgaard is given too much space to send in a cross from deep on the right, Matt Doherty is sleeping at the back post and Martin Braithwaite runs off his marker, gets a foot to the cross and steers it past Darren Randolph from close range.

  16. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 21:13 Greenwich Mean Time 18 November 2019

    Republic of Ireland 0-0 Denmark

A second change for the hosts. The dangerous Callum Robinson is now on, with Conor Hourihane going off, so the Irish will need a new set-piece taker.

A reminder, a 1-0 win for the Republic and they will qualify. Denmark will instead if it remains goalless.

Paul: Flying in and both feet off the ground at one point. Whelan can moan all he likes but he's lucky that's only a yellow.

Sulaimon Adelekan: Better from Ireland, they should make this count.
