I wouldn’t be pessimistic about Manchester United’s future. They need inspiring by the supporters.
The fans need to say it’s enough if they play good football and blood youngsters and finish outside the top four.
Arsenal, Colchester United, Crawley Town, Everton, Leicester City, Manchester City, Southampton and Watford.
The draw for the last 16 will take place after the MK Dons v Liverpool match, with the ties to be played in the week commencing 28 October.

Tonight's an opportunity - Taylor Richards has come from Manchester City, Teddy Jenks is rated as one of the best young players in the country.
If Aston Villa's attitude isn't right then we could cause an upset. What we will see tonight is how good these players are. The manager has said that if you are good enough or play well, then you will stay with the first-team squad.

Khan: How is Shaqiri not playing!? He need minutes. Also, why play Milner at LB? You can put Ox, Lallana or Keita further up field for him.
Tom McCarron: What's that coming over the hill? Rhian Brewster, Rhian Brewster!

Ricky Lee Everett: Bold selection from Ole, let's just hope the lads put in a performance that's been lacking in recent outings.
Tom: Fred, let's pass it to the linesman and Lingard, I'll run around for no reason. My, my, things are looking up!
Oxford v West Ham (19:45 BST)
West Ham manager Manuel Pellegrini has managed four previous League Cup third round matches, winning all four by an aggregate scoreline of 24-1.
5-0 v Wigan, 7-0 v Sheffield Wednesday, 4-1 v Sunderland and 8-0 v Macclesfield.
Oxford to win tonight then?
Burton v Bournemouth (19:45 BST)
These two sides have a decent record in the competition over the last few years.
Burton reached the semi-final last year where they were outclassed by eventual winners Manchester City, but they have won more League Cup games (7) since the start of last season than any other side.
Bournemouth have progressed from nine of their 10 League Cup ties against sides from outside the top-flight.
Chelsea v Grimsby (19:45 BST)
Frank Lampard won the League Cup twice as a player with Chelsea, and his first game in this competition as manager is a home match against Grimsby Town, who are ninth in League Two.
Lampard took Derby into the fourth round last season by beating Manchester United on penalties before losing against his current club in the last 16.
Grimsby are aiming to reach the fourth round for the first time since 2001-02, when they stunned Liverpool at Anfield with a 120th-minute winner in a 2-1 victory.
Grimsby goalkeeper James McKeown told the club website: "We'll have a few things we can throw at them - we've got a few tactics that I'm sure will be implemented. If we can stay in the game for the first 20 minutes then you never know."
Brighton v Aston Villa (19:45 BST)
This is the first League Cup meeting between the two sides and the records could not be much different.
Aston Villa have won the competition five times, but Brighton have reached the fourth round just once in the past 39 campaigns, beaten by Tottenham in 2014.
MK Dons v Liverpool (19:45 BST)
Chief executive Peter Moore believes Champions League winners Liverpool are 'back on their perch' following Sir Alex Ferguson's famous remark.
After arriving at Old Trafford in 1986, Ferguson said his first job was to "knock Liverpool right off their perch".
The Scot proceeded to win 13 Premier Leagues before retiring in 2013, taking their tally of English top-flight titles to 20, compared with Liverpool's 18.
Man Utd v Rochdale (20:00 BST)
Old Trafford, here we come.
At the last count, 6,000 Daleys (that's what we call ourselves) will be jabbing 'M16 0RA' into our sat navs or clambering on to one of the many coaches making the same 21-mile journey.
We plan to make the most of this rare visit to another footballing world. We'll arrive at the ground ridiculously early. Photographs will be taken. Multiple copies of the match programme will be purchased. We'll buy those much-maligned half-and-half scarves.
Even worse, someone will bring a homemade tin foil and cardboard cup and wave it madly every time a television camera pans the crowd.
Win, or - more likely - lose, the match will still be a great celebration.

Oxford United manager Karl Robinson makes six changes from the side that had a record-breaking 6-0 away win at Lincoln City at the weekend - with hat-trick hero Tariqe Fosu on the bench.
He is joined there by Ben Woodburn, on loan from Liverpool and still trying to fulfil his early promise at Anfield and with Wales.
Good opportunity for Jack Wilshere to get some minutes under his belt and stake a claim as he starts for West Ham United.
Wolves v Reading (19:45 BST)
Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo has earned plenty of plaudits since taking over the club in 2017.
He is unbeaten in his last 19 domestic cup matches at home since a 3-0 defeat against Pacos de Ferreira as Rio Ave manager in December 2012 in the Portuguese League Cup.

MK Dons exited in the second round last season after a 3-0 loss to Bournemouth, having beaten Charlton by the same scoreline in the first round.
Tune in.
Man Utd v Rochdale (20:00BST)
Manchester United were assessed by an old manager on Sunday - and Jose Mourinho was particularly damning about the 2-0 defeat at West Ham.
Tonight, it's Rochdale's turn to be judged by a former boss.
Keith Hill was sacked by Dale on 4 March, after six years in charge.
Now Hill is in charge of Bolton Wanderers, although he still has some good friends at Spotland judging by the greeting he received in the Old Trafford directors' box just now.
