The English Premier League needs to do something about the transfer window. It needs to be in line with the rest of Europe. The reason English clubs are struggling to sell unwanted players and therefore have to loan them including Darmian, Bakayoko, Mkhitarayan is because the window closing early compromises their negotiating position.

    Permanent deal a possibility

    Jonathan Sutherland
    BBC Sport Scotland

I understand Liverpool and Rangers are in talks with the Scottish giants keen to sign winger Ryan Kent.

Kent spent a fruitful spell with the Ibrox club on loan last season.

The European champions were reluctant to let the player go out on loan again this season, but it seems Rangers are now making a move to bring him north of the border on a permanent basis.

Eric: I disagree with Lee about Ajax having an easy league, to manage a young team with different players every 1-2 years and keep on going is achievement in itself. Spurs are going downhill, we are seeing that now.

Atif 12.01. Ludicrous comment. It's far easier to win the Dutch double than it is to finish fourth in the Premier League. Spurs beat that Ajax team and Pochettino has managed to keep his team together, something Ten Hag couldn't do.
