Ether: This is the point where a decent bench comes into play for Liverpool. It's also why we all believe Manchester City, despite being 5 points behind, are still favorites for the title.

    Liverpool 1-1 Leicester

Leicester on the hunt for a winner now. Virgil van Dijk does well to stop Ayoze Perez and get the ball out for a throw-in.

Everton have become consistent at being bad. The team is just not playing together, there's no leadership on the pitch, no idea of what to do from Marco Silva. As an Everton fan I feel we have become a laughing stock and a disgrace.

    Burnley 1-0 Everton

Burnley could and probably should have just wrapped this up. They make use of the space against their 10-man opposition and work the ball to Jay Rodriguez on the edge of the box but he fails to get his shot into the corners and Jordan Pickford can save.

  6. goal

    James Maddison (80 mins)

    Oh hello.

Are Liverpool going to drop Premier League points for the first time this season?

Ayoze Perez slips a good ball through to James Maddison, who gets in behind a couple of defenders. Maddison's first-time shot away squirms under Adrian. The keeper should have done better there.

Liverpool have become sloppy up front. Firmino gave the ball away and he doesn't seem on it in the last five minutes. Some lovely play from James Milner though, he's been a leader on the pitch and has made crucial tackles.

Matthew Hobbs: Baffling defending from Everton... Burnley nearly scored in the first half from a simple back-post run from a corner. Utterly brainless to leave the same space free for exactly the same run. As zones go, that one's probably worth marking.

    Liverpool 1-0 Leicester

Double change for Liverpool. Divock Origi and Jordan Henderson, who takes the armband, are on.

Georginio Wijnaldum and Roberto Firmino are replaced.

    Burnley 1-0 Everton

Marco Silva's sides - Hull, Watford and Everton - have now conceded 45 goals from set-pieces in the Premier League. Rubbish.

He's another manager under big pressure.

Everton are 12 minutes away from losing four league games in a row for the first time in four years.

"You're getting sacked in the morning," chant the boisterous Burnley fans as Everton boss Marco Silva slips his hands into his pockets and looks forlornly at the turf.

    Oh dear.

That Dennis Praet's long-range effort was Leicester's first shot of this game - 73 minutes it took.

Marco Silva throws on Moise Kean to try and salvage something from this game but it's a big ask with 10 men.

Bit of anxiety going on around Liverpool now. They keep losing the ball from the front three of Mane, Salah and Firmino. James Maddison is now starting to find those little pockets.

Fifteen minutes to go for Leicester, who have been a bit disappointing to be honest, to find a way back. Ben Chilwell's cross is held by Adrian.

  17. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 16:31 British Summer Time 5 October 2019

    Liverpool 1-0 Leicester

That's Dennis Praet's last kick. He's replaced by Ayoze Perez - one of many terrible fantasy football signings I've made this season.

    Liverpool 1-0 Leicester

A decent spell this for Leicester and it ends with Dennis Praet fizzing a shot just wide from 20 yards out.

The loose ball span out to him from Fabinho's clearance.

  19. goal

    Jeff Hendrick

If there was going to be a goal in this game then it was always likely to come from a set piece.

Burnley are in front through Jeff Hendrick.

It's horrendous defending from 10-man Everton. At no point is Hendrick picked up in the box and he is allowed to drift around to the back post to meet a deep corner and volley it beyond Jordan Pickford.

    Norwich 0-4 Aston Villa

Norwich are a really difficult team to judge. They beat Man City a few weeks ago but today have been ripped apart by Aston Villa today.

They're into the relegation zone as it stands.
