    Liverpool 1-0 Leicester

Leicester corner as Andy Robertson blocks Marc Albrighton's cross. It was a decent move from the Foxes in the build-up.

Dejan Lovren heads the corner away.

  2. 'It's not a second yellow'published at 16:16 British Summer Time 5 October 2019

    Burnley 0-0 Everton

    Kevin Kilbane
Former Republic of Ireland winger on Final Score

That was a very soft yellow card for me. It's not an aggressive challenge, it's not a yellow card for me. Seamus Coleman should still be in the pitch for me.

Former West Ham captain on BBC Radio 5 Live

Lovely bit of inter-play between Mane and Salah. I think Ben Chilwell did have a little bit of Salah's shirt and it was enough to put him off.

    Liverpool 1-0 Leicester

Brilliant. Almost brilliant. Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane play about three one-twos to slice the Leicester defender and Jonny Evans slides in just before Mane can shoot, with the ricochet going just wide.

It was so close a colleague just shouted "what a goal".

  5. RED CARD - Seamus Colemanpublished at 16:13 British Summer Time 5 October 2019

    Burnley 0-0 Everton

You could have been sent off in the first half and now Seamus Coleman has been dismissed.

Already on a yellow card for that bad tackle on Erik Pieters, he jumps very late for a challenge with Dwight McNeil and clatters into the winger after the ball has gone.

He can't really argue, even if there wasn't a lot of intent. A bad day for Coleman.

  6. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 16:12 British Summer Time 5 October 2019

    Burnley 0-0 Everton

Erik Pieters has his shirt pulled up over his face. He can't continue due to injury. You've got to assume this is something to do with the earlier tackle from Seamus Coleman. Charlie Taylor replaces him.

Former West Ham captain on BBC Radio 5 Live

I think Jurgen Klopp has told Liverpool to go out and smell blood. They want to get out and get an early goal, just to settle them down.

  8. Postpublished at 16:11 British Summer Time 5 October 2019

    Liverpool 1-0 Leicester

Mohamed Salah hits his free-kick straight at the head of Jamie Vardy in the Leicester wall.

    Norwich 0-3 Aston Villa

There's one satisfied royal at Carrow Road. Villa fan Prince William is in attendance with Duchess Kate and his young family.

It has been a performance fit for royalty. He looks like he's enjoying it.

  10. YELLOW CARDpublished at 16:10 British Summer Time 5 October 2019

    Liverpool 1-0 Leicester

Mohamed Salah spins Leicester defender Caglar Soyuncu, who has to pull his arm back - yellow card to stop him getting away.

JP: So far Lovren has been a pleasant surprise. He has done well to close the gaps especially with Trent Alexander Arnold pushing upfield. Jinx?

Axuxjx: Match ball? Sadio Mane should take Anfield home for his recent performances.

Chance for Sheffield United but Callum Robinson's shot is easily enough saved by Ben Foster.

  13. goal

GOAL - Norwich 0-3 Aston Villapublished at 16:06 British Summer Time 5 October 2019

    Jack Grealish

What a day this is turning into for Aston Villa. Their rare away win looks almost certain now.

It's Jack Grealish who creates and scores the goal. That's his first goal back in the Premier League.

Get Involved - Adrian or Alisson?published at 16:06 British Summer Time 5 October 2019

Antony: Not a fair comparison, Allison hasn’t played all season It’s a good shout though. Allison is more commanding, keeps them a tighter unit at the back.

Haseeb: A half fit Alisson is much better than two fully fit Adrians. Bring on Ali. That Salzburg game surely calls for it.

  15. Postpublished at 16:06 British Summer Time 5 October 2019

    Liverpool 1-0 Leicester

This was the first time Leicester failed to have a shot in the first half of a Premier League games in almost two years. The last was against Manchester City in November 2017.

    Norwich 0-2 Aston Villa

Aston Villa have lost their last 10 away games in the Premier League – it’s their joint-longest run of away defeats in top-flight history - but they're halfway to a win today at Norwich.

Villa have been good today. Certainly the better of these two promoted sides.

    Can Norwich respond?

The last time Mohamed Salah lost a game at Anfield in 2014... he was a Chelsea player and Brendan Rodgers was Liverpool manager.

    Watford 0-0 Sheffield United

Watford striker Danny Welbeck doesn't appear to have lost his pace following his injury woes. He runs in from the halfway line but Dean Henderson saves his shot.

  19. Postpublished at 16:04 British Summer Time 5 October 2019

    Liverpool 1-0 Leicester

I'm no football tactician but I probably wouldn't leave Trent Alexander-Arnold in about 30 yards of space down the right. Leicester do though and the full-back finds Mohamed Salah, whose shot is well saved by Kasper Schmeichel.

  20. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 16:02 British Summer Time 5 October 2019

    Liverpool 1-0 Leicester

Leicester City make a half-time substitution. Marc Albrighton is on for Harvey Barnes.
