    HT: Rangers 1-0 Feyenoord

Former Feyenoord and Liverpool star Dirk Kuyt is in the stand at Ibrox tonight. He'll have been impressed by the cat-like display of goalkeeper Kenneth Vermeer; less so, perhaps, by his former side's finishing in front of goal.

    Quote Message

I think Steven Gerrard isn't happy at half-time because Rangers aren't two or three goals up. Feyenoord have had nothing, it's been all Rangers. Gerrard will be delighted but also worried that they've not killed off this game.

    FT: Rennes 1-1 Celtic

Celtic manager Neil Lennon: "I’m surprised we don’t have VAR in this competition. If we would've had it we would have had another penalty.

[On Bayo's red card] "There was no contact with the goalkeeper's face at all. The referee just changed his mind. I think Bayo can feel very hard done by.

"Boli Bolingoli has a slight adductor strain. We didn’t want to take too many chances with him. We’ll assess him tomorrow – he may be a doubt for the next few games. I don’t think it’s too serious but it’s not like him to come off."

You can't take your eyes off this one. Feyenoord came roaring out of the traps in the opening minutes but Rangers have grown in confidence since taking the lead, courtesy of Sheyi Ojo's thunderbolt.

James Tavernier's penalty miss didn't derail Rangers. Ojo spurned a glorious chance to double their lead, with the hosts a goal to the good at the break.

However, the visitors continue to look dangerous on the counter...

  20. 'We were the better team' - Lennonpublished at 20:45

    FT: Rennes 1-1 Celtic

Celtic manager Neil Lennon: "I thought we were the better team. I was disappointed to come into half-time a goal down. We lacked composure in the final third in the first-half. We were just rushing things a bit. I asked the players for a reaction at the break and we certainly got one. We thoroughly merited a point if not the three."
