    Livingston 0-1 Rangers

Steven Davis is brought on to replace the injured Joe Aribo in Rangers' midfield. The former has had to go off after a nasty head injury that required a large bandage to be applied to his head.

  2. CLOSE!published at 20:07 British Summer Time 25 September 2019

    Celtic 1-0 Partick Thistle

Very nearly a second goal for Celtic and Vakoun Issouf Bayo. Tom Rogic is starting to swagger in the final third and his cross is perfectly weighted to find the forehead of the Ivorian.

Bayo's header flies down but bounces hard and high and loops over the crossbar.

    Livingston 0-1 Rangers

Joe Aribo is down on the ground and the Rangers midfielder seems to be bleeding from his head after an aerial challenge with Ricki Lambie.

We're only 20 minutes in to this game, but it's already the second Rangers player to go down with a head injury after Ryan Jack went down and received lengthy treatment.

Jonny Hayes whips it right on to the head of Vakoun Issouf Bayo. It's a great header beyond the reach of Scott Fox. Celtic have had chances and that goal was coming

Berra is really clumsy. He hesitates and the skip of the ball took it beyond him. It's soft, but I think the referee gave the right decision

  6. goal

GOAL Celtic 1-0 Partick Thistlepublished at 20:00 British Summer Time 25 September 2019

    Vakoun Issouf Bayo

Celtic make their early dominance count after 14 minutes. Jonny Hayes fires in a free-kick that finds the head of Vakoun Issouf Bayo and the Ivorian sends his header low beyond goalkeeper Scott Fox.

That is, officially, Bayo's first goal for Celtic, since the two he "scored" against Hearts last month were latterly adjudged to be own goals.

    Celtic 0-0 Partick Thistle

Celtic are bossing the opening stages, making several promising forays down the right flank through Jeremie Frimpong and Lewis Morgan.

It's the man playing on the left, though, Jonny Hayes, who delivers for Vakoun Issouf Bayo to head over the bar.

  11. GREAT SAVE!published at 19:52 British Summer Time 25 September 2019

    Heart of Midlothian 0-0 Aberdeen

A lively start for Joe Lewis in the Aberdeen goal. This time, he's forced to make a save after Ryotaro Meshino bursts through. Two chances in two minutes for Hearts.

  12. PENALTY APPEALpublished at 19:51 British Summer Time 25 September 2019

  13. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 19:50 British Summer Time 25 September 2019

    Heart of Midlothian 0-0 Aberdeen

Uche Ikpeazu is so close to opening the scoring for the home side.

He's one-on-one with goalkeeper Joe Lewis, but the striker's shot cannons off the underside of the bar and then he can't turn in the rebound. Promising start by the hosts.

    Glen Kamara

Glen Kamara opens the scoring for Rangers with a deflected shot via Livingston defender Nicky Devlin. The full-back's unfortunate clearance lands at the feet of Kamara on the edge of the box only for Devlin to then get in the way of the shot, knocking it beyond goalkeeper Matija Sarkic. Who starts in goals for Livingston, despite what the club's teamsheet said prior to kick off.

It comes moments after Glenn Middleton fired in a low cross that goalkeeper Laurentiu Branescu dealt with comfortably.

  19. Heckingbottom seeks Hibs' cutting edgepublished at 19:44 British Summer Time 25 September 2019

    Kilmarnock v Hibernian (19:45)

Under-pressure Hibernian head coach Paul Heckingbottom has dropped Scott Allan and Florian Kamberi to the bench tonight in search of a greater cutting edge.

Heckingbottom also confirmed right-back Jason Naismith misses out with an injury picked up in Sunday's 2-1 Edinburgh derby loss to Hearts.

"Christian Doige and Glenn Middleton coming in are for opportunities in the box," he told BBC Radio Scotland.

"Between both boxes we’ve been okay, we seem to have tightened up a little bit at one end, but we’ve not had enough goal threat at the other. So when we get deliveries into the box, I’m expecting Christian Doidge to be in between the posts being an absolute nuisance to the centre-backs.

"We’ve got another game in less than three days, but that’s not to say I’m resting players. We’re desperate to be in the semi-final. This is us picking a team we think is going to be more of a threat."

  20. McInnes wary of Hearts' threatpublished at 19:43 British Summer Time 25 September 2019

Heart of Midlothian v Aberdeen (19:45)

Aberdeen manager Derek McInnes on BBC Sportsound: "I think Hearts will be buoyed by the result [against Hibernian] but it's important we try to impose ourselves on the game and don't let the crowd get into it much. We're well aware of their threat.

"We're short in certain areas, but we're trying to manage that situation."
