    Hibernian 1-1 Celtic

Joe Newell comes into the Hibs midfield, with an exhausted Marcus Hallberg making way. The Swede has done a good job in the engine room today and denied Callum McGregor what looked a certain goal just a few minutes ago.

  3. Postpublished at 87 mins

    Hibernian 1-1 Celtic

The Hibs penalty area is under siege. This time it's Josh Vela bravely getting in the way of a Vakoun Bayo volley.

    Quote Message

I'm looking at a few Hibs players high-fiving each other for defending. They're flaming lucky the ball's not in the back of the net. Hibs have so many players back, but they're not actually picking players up.

  5. Hallberg saves the day for Hibspublished at 85 mins

    Hibernian 1-1 Celtic

Hibs commit men forward as a Daryl Horgan cross is just too high for Josh Vela.

Celtic come steaming forward and it looks like Callum McGregor is going to strike a late winner. Marcus Hallberg just manages to get in a block and the sting is taken out of the shot, allowing Chris Maxwell to hold on.

  6. Celtic send for Sinclairpublished at 84 mins

    Hibernian 1-1 Celtic

A final change for Celtic as Scott Sinclair replaces James Forrest.

Hibs are looking pretty tired and still have one substitute up their sleeve.

  7. 'Don't give it away'published at 14:12 British Summer Time 28 September 2019

    Hibernian 1-1 Celtic

    Willie Miller
Former Scotland defender on BBC Radio Scotland

    Quote Message

If Hibs get a draw here it's a great point for them. Celtic are pretty good at scoring late on, but Hibs have to focus on not giving it away. They should try and make it as difficult as possible. If you get a chance, go for a winner, but don't over commit

  8. Postpublished at 78 mins

    Hibernian 1-1 Celtic

Hibs are hanging on a bit now as Ryan Christie pings an ambitious long-range effort over the top.

  9. 'Looks a penalty to me'published at 14:08 British Summer Time 28 September 2019

    Hibernian 1-1 Celtic

That's another one. It looks a penalty to me. You could see it happening before it did. Horgan dangles his right leg and to me, he runs a massive risk. It's been a poor afternoon for the officials. They're giving things that shouldn't be given and not awarding other things. It's not just Kevin Clancy, it's all the officials. We can see these decisions from the stands.

  10. PENALTY APPEALpublished at 76 mins

    Hibernian 1-1 Celtic

Another lucky escape for Hibs? Daryl Horgan is late on Moritz Bauer, catching the Celtic full-back after the Austrian sends a cross into a packed goalmouth.

  11. Postpublished at 73 mins

    Hibernian 1-1 Celtic

Almost an immediate impact from Vakoun Bayo as the Celtic substitute runs on to a lovely flick from Ryan Christie. Out comes Chris Maxwell just in time, with the keeper getting enough glove on the ball to thwart the danger.

  12. Bayo enters the fray for Celticpublished at 71 mins

    Hibernian 1-1 Celtic

Odsonne Edouard is in acres of room as he heads over the top inside the Hibs' box. That's the striker's last act as Vakoun Issouf Bayo comes on to lead the Celtic line.

  13. Horgan on for Hibspublished at 70 mins

    Hibernian 1-1 Celtic

One tricky winger for another as Hibs send on Daryl Horgan in place of Glenn Middleton.

  14. YELLOW CARDpublished at 69 mins

  15. 'Stevenson got away with one'published at 13:58 British Summer Time 28 September 2019

There's absolutely no need to make that challenge in the box. Lewis Stevenson has got away with one there, he's very lucky. He shouldn't have gone in there. He didn't need to commit, he could've blocked it without making a lunging tackle.

  16. Jullien should do betterpublished at 67 mins

    Hibernian 1-1 Celtic

Big chance for a big man.

Christopher Jullien powers on to a curling Callum McGregor free kick but can only steer his header over the top from 10 yards.

  17. PENALTY APPEALpublished at 64 mins

    Hibernian 1-1 Celtic

Oh, this one looks a much stronger case... Lewis Stevenson with a crazy lunge on Ryan Christie near the byeline. He definitely catches the Celtic midfielder but nothing is given.

The experienced Hibs full-back got away with one there.

  18. PENALTY APPEALpublished at 63 mins

    Hibernian 1-1 Celtic

Hibs best sequence for a long time as they work the ball from side to side and into Glenn Middleton. Christopher Jullien has a hold on the Hibs winger's arm for a long time before he topples over and bounces straight back up.

  20. Hayes on for Ntchampublished at 60 mins

    Hibernian 1-1 Celtic

Celtic make their first change as the game gets increasingly scrappy, with Jonny Hayes on for Olivier Ntcham. That should mean a more central role for Ryan Christie.
