Burnley have a free kick and a chance to double their advantage but Robbie Brady's strike hits the wall.

Leicester counter quickly soon after but Jamie Vardy fires into the sidenetting.

    Chelsea 0-0 Newcastle

Matthew Longstaff, the younger of the two brothers at Newcastle, gets a painful one from Mason Mount and wins a free-kick in his own half.

It's not been full of action but it's certainly not a bad game. Engrossing.

  3. PENALTY APPEALpublished at 15:38 British Summer Time 19 October 2019

    Tottenahm 0-1 Watford

    Now then.

Jan Vertonghen appears to bring down Gerard Deulofeu in the box. The referee says no penalty, VAR has a look and agrees with the official.

It was a very close call though. Spurs get lucky.

  4. GREAT SAVE!published at 15:38 British Summer Time 19 October 2019

    Aston villa 0-1 Brighton

Conor Hourihane whips another dangerous free-kick in and again, Mat Ryan does well to palm it away, low to his right.

    Tottenham 0-1 Watford

Lovely ball by Harry Kane almost finds Serge Aurier on the far side of the box but the bounce is awkward for the Tottenham fullback and he can't keep it in play. Kane doesn't hide his frustration, he clearly feels Aurier should have done better.

  7. 'Joelinton needs to hold the ball up'published at 15:36 British Summer Time 19 October 2019

    Chelsea 0-0 Newcastle

    Rob Green
Former England and West Ham goalkeeper on BBC Radio 5 Live

They only problem I have with the Newcastle system is that every time the ball is pushed up to Joelinton he is hurried off the ball by two or three Chelsea players. Newcastle need him to hold the ball up there and give other players time to come and support.

  8. RED CARD - Aaron Mooypublished at 15:35 British Summer Time 19 October 2019
    Breaking

    Aston Villa 0-1 Brighton

This could change things at Villa Park. Aaron Mooy, who picked up a silly yellow card a few moments ago for blocking a free-kick, has been shown a second one after a foul on Jack Grealish on the edge of the box.

It's got a little sloppy at Stamford Bridge now.

    Bournemouth 0-0 Norwich

    Mark Mitchener
    BBC Sport at Vitality Stadium

"On the ball, City", is a familiar refrain from the yellow-clad away fans who've travelled down from Norfolk. Certainly they've outsung the hosts so far.

The visitors are getting into the game more and more, and committing men forward - but might Bournemouth seek to utilise the pace of Callum Wilson and Ryan Fraser to hit them on the break?

    Wolves 0-0 Southampton

Another injury concern for Wolves here with Rúben Neves down on the ground. He got caught in the face accidentally by Danny Ings' arm.

Shouldn't need to go off, though.

    Leicester 0-1 Burnley

Leicester have found that extra 10% as a result of going behind and Nick Pope does well to punch away Youri Tielemans' fierce effort.

  14. GREAT SAVE!published at 15:32 British Summer Time 19 October 2019

    Aston Villa 0-1 Brighton

Oh, this should be two! Neal Maupay slips it through the two centre-backs for Aaron Connolly to run onto.

He only has the keeper to beat but Tom Heaton races off his line and charges him down, before blocking the shot with his feet.

Just the one touch inside the box for Watford but it was the all important touch - Abdoulaye Doucouré's goal.

The Hornets are now firmly entrenched in their own half but Tottenham are really struggling to find a way through. They are attacking the Watford defence like a cat playfully pawing a ball on a string.

    Chelsea 0-0 Newcastle

Tammy Abraham dummies it after getting a call from Mason Mount and the midfielder is then brought down after a smart turn on the edge of the box.

Willian is eyeing this up - it's in a very good position. Marcos Alonso and Mount and hanging about too.

  17. Postpublished at 15:30 British Summer Time 19 October 2019

    Bournemouth 0-0 Norwich

Jamal Lewis brings down Harry Wilson and Bournemouth have a free-kick about 25 yards out.

It's Wilson territory but he blasts it straight into the wall.

  18. Postpublished at 15:29 British Summer Time 19 October 2019

    Chelsea 0-0 Newcastle

Jamaal Lascelles absolutely clatters into Tammy Abraham in the air. The striker took a big knock but doesn't even get a free-kick. He's complaining about it and rightly so.

  19. DISALLOWED GOALpublished at 15:29 British Summer Time 19 October 2019

    Wolves 0-0 Southampton

Wolves have the ball in the back of the net as Raúl Jiménez rounds the keeper and slots in, but it won't count. He'd handled in the build up.

    Aston Villa 0-1 Brighton

Apart from that free-kick effort from Conor Hourihane, there's not been any real reaction from Aston Villa.

Instead, Neal Maupay has come close for Brighton.
