We expected an open game, which we got - but we also expected goals, which we didn't get.

It's only Bournemouth's ninth goalless draw in four-and-a-bit years in the Premier League.

While Bournemouth would love a late winner, Eddie Howe is pretty much out of game-changing attacking options for the last few minutes. The five remaining Bournemouth substitutes are three defenders, a defensive midfielder and a goalkeeper.

Norwich's Teemu Pukki, meanwhile, has taken one for the team - chasing back to bring down Adam Smith at the cost of a yellow card to stop a dangerous Cherries break.

Norwich's Max Aarons could possibly do with a loan spell at RADA. Having gone down clutching his leg, realising he was over the byeline and off the pitch and referee Lee Mason was about to restart play, he rolled back onto the field... and then when Mason clearly wasn't fooled, he sprinted back to his right-back position.

This is the first time Arnaut Danjuma's got involved since he came on.

When asked, Joshua King insisted he was a "team player", despite being asked to operate on the left wing in recent games, rather than his preferred central striking role.

He now has just under half-an-hour, up top against his fellow Norway international Alex Tettey. But of today's Nordic contingent, including the Dane Philip Billing, it's Finland's Teemu Pukki who has shone brightest.

And the continental flavour of the game increases with the arrival of Netherlands winger Arnaut Danjuma off the bench.

    Second change for the Cherries:

    Ooh so nearly an opener.

Teemu Pukki pulls the trigger from the edge of the box, and the ball looks destined to nestle in the bottom corner, only for Aaron Ramsdale to make a superb sprawling save.
