Harry Wilson may have fluffed the chance to enact the perfect revenge with that free-kick, but he's been boosted by the return of Adam Smith playing behind him at right-back. The ex-Tottenham man, back after a hamstring injury which had kept him out since the end of August, has been lively in this first half, often stepping forward to link the play and create openings in attack.

Smith's seen plenty of the ball - which may, or may not, be a reason Norwich's wide attackers Todd Cantwell and Emiliano Buendia have switched flanks, with the latter now on the Norwich right.

    Bournemouth 0-0 Norwich

Adam Smith breaks into the Norwich box after some nice play out on the Cherries' right but Ben Godfrey is there to clear it away again.

The England Under-21 international is looking solid for the Canaries.

    Bournemouth 0-0 Norwich

Diego Rico whips in a threatening ball for Dominic Solanke to attack but Ben Godfrey does well to clear it away.

The Spaniard has been impressive on Bournemouth's left flank so far.

Straight into the wall from the Liverpool loanee.

    Disappointing from him.

  6. YELLOW CARDpublished at 29 mins

    Bournemouth 0-0 Norwich

Harry Wilson wins his side a free-kick about 30 yards out on the left-hand side.

Jamal Lewis picks up a booking and this looks ominous for the Canaries - this is prime Harry Wilson territory.

    Bournemouth 0-0 Norwich

Tim Krul's just whacked his second clearance of the day straight out of play.

Maybe the Dutchman's a little rusty after two games on the sidelines?

"On the ball, City", is a familiar refrain from the yellow-clad away fans who've travelled down from Norfolk. Certainly they've outsung the hosts so far.

The visitors are getting into the game more and more, and committing men forward - but might Bournemouth seek to utilise the pace of Callum Wilson and Ryan Fraser to hit them on the break?

And now Callum Wilson tries one himself but his effort from the right-hand side of the box whistles wide.

    Ooh now we have one!

Tim Krul does well to deflect Dominic Solanke's close-range effort away after the ex-Liverpool man was played in by Callum Wilson.

Twenty minutes gone at Vitality Stadium and we're yet to see a shot on target.

  12. Postpublished at 20 mins

    Bournemouth 0-0 Norwich

The Canaries have looked good in the past five minutes or so but they've got nothing to show for it.

This time it's full-back Max Aarons who is caught offside as they tried to build down the right.

Looks like Teemu Pukki's woken up.

He's found in behind the Cherries by Todd Cantwell and manages to get a shot off, but the linesman's flag is up anyway.

And here comes the Finland man...

...he drives into the box but his poked cross is cleared by Lewis Cook.

Aaaand Aaron Ramsdale easily claims the corner.

    Bournemouth 0-0 Norwich

Norwich's Teemu Pukki bagged twice in midweek for Finland but he hasn't had a sniff yet today.

In fact, he hasn't netted for his club since their memorable victory over Manchester City in mid-September.

Useless fact of the day: Bournemouth v Norwich is only the second Premier League fixture ever to take place (the first being Norwich v Ipswich) between two teams who play in counties that do not contain any motorways.

And apart from a Norwich corner which was eventually cleared, it's been largely one-way traffic so far...

    Bournemouth 0-0 Norwich

Diego Rico and Lewis Cook combine again to wriggle Bournemouth out of a tough moment and then they build again and win another corner.

But Norwich clear again, and Philip Billing blasts the clearance over the bar.

Lacking a bit of quality, this one.

Nice play from the returning Lewis Cook, Harry Wilson and Diego Rico sees the hosts win another corner.

But after a few phases of play, it eventually comes to nothing as Callum Wilson is penalised for contesting a high ball with Tim Krul.

The hosts have another chance to get a ball in the box as Harry Wilson is felled on the left but Diego Rico's free-kick eludes everyone and goes harmlessly out for a goal kick.

Promising signs for the Cherries as Ryan Fraser's corner is met by Nathan Ake, whose effort is cleared.

The clearance falls to Diego Rico on the edge of the box but the Spaniard blasts his effort high and wide.
