Southampton manager Ralph Hasenhuttl has just been on speaking to Sky Sports about why he has plumped for tonight's formation.

He said: "It was not only because of the result against Wolves, today we need the defensive balance and the team did it well, so they get another chance.

"Against a powerful team it helps you. It’s a very flexible shape. We tried it against Liverpool and had a chance to take a point, so we’ll try it again against another strong team."

On the threat of Jamie Vardy: "Everybody know he waits for the moment the ball goes beyond the backline.

"It means we must stop the counter-attack at the beginning if possible because it’s not always easy to stop him."

That draw with Wolves on Saturday handed Southampton their first league point since 14 September, halting a run of three straight defeats.

Ralph Hasenhuttl's side put in a much improved showing from the 4-1 defeat at home to Chelsea prior to the international break, with the Austrian manager admitting afterwards that his players knew it was "time to show up".

With back-to-back fixtures against Manchester City in the Carabao Cup and league to come next week, a positive result tonight could be crucial for confidence.

A win this evening - an unlikely scoreline aside - would see them go 14th, above Manchester United.

Chris Smalling conceded a controversial 93rd-minute penalty as Roma drew 1-1 with Borussia Monchengladbach in the Europa League last night.

Adjudged to have blocked Nico Elvedi's header with his hand, replays showed the ball had actually smashed Smalling flush in the face. Ouch.

Not much to tell you in regards to team news.

Both sides are unchanged from last weekend...

There were emotional scenes at the King Power Stadium last Saturday, as Leicester marked the anniversary of former owner Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha's death.

He and four others died in a helicopter crash outside the King Power Stadium on 27 October last year, and a Memorial Garden is set to open on the site on Sunday to "bring a sense of peace to the scene of the accident".

The Foxes produced a fitting result on a difficult day as they fought back to beat Burnley 2-1 and keep themselves firmly in the mix for a top-four spot.

There's a nice spread of Premier League fixtures to come this weekend, with five games tomorrow and another four on Sunday.

After tonight's action, Manchester City will get things under way against Aston Villa on Saturday, and Manchester United travel to Norwich to complete an intriguing 10th round of matches.

Southampton winger Moussa Djenepo has returned to training after six weeks out with a hip injury - but he won't be fit in time for this one.

Saints defender Cedric, meanwhile, is still sidelined with a calf injury.

Leicester have no new injury problems, with James Maddison believed to be fully fit again.

The midfielder was substituted as a precaution during last week's win over Burnley following injury and illness, but should be ready for tonight's game.
