Richarlison is very good in the air. He gets across the defender really well. The pace is on the ball and he meets it, heads it down and the keeper has got no chance.

  2. 'A perfect delivery'published at 15:23 British Summer Time 26 October 2019

    Brighton 1-1 Everton

    Alan Pardew
Former Southampton and West Ham manager on BBC Radio 5 Live

It is a very well worked set play. I haven’t seen a block but it is a perfect delivery just on the edge of the six-yard box and Richarlison with a perfect header.

    Watford 0-0 Bournemouth

Philip Billing's drive from the edge of the box is parried away by Ben Foster. From the resulting corner, Callum Wilson's curler is tipped over the bar.

Two decent chances for the Cherries!

Mark Noble slides in to win the ball in midfield and Felipe Anderson has time to pick out a cross on the right.

He's looking for support but Andriy Yarmolenko ends up getting in his way and Anderson can only blast it into the defender to win a corner.

    Richarlison

    What a response!

Everton are back on level terms thanks to a superb header by Richarlison.

The Brazilian leaps high above the Brighton defence to head past Mat Ryan following Lucas Digne's corner.

    This is a belting game!

  7. 'Pickford should have saved that'published at 15:19 British Summer Time 26 October 2019

    Brighton 1-0 Everton

    Alan Pardew
Former Southampton and West Ham manager on BBC Radio 5 Live

From a technical level it was such a hit!

But the ball has gone on Pickford’s side, it was a great strike but it was not on the top corner.

As a manager I would look at my goalkeeper and say: ‘He should have saved that’, but it was a great hit.

    West Ham 0-0 Sheff Utd

Andriy Yarmolenko's chipped ball is headed away but straight to Mark Noble, who passes it off to his right first time.

It's back at Yarmolenko's feet but again, his cross doesn't beat the first man. John Lundstrum does well to bring it out from the back and David McGoldrick puts in a dangerous ball from the right but there's no Sheffield United teammate up in support in the centre.

The wall is set up wrong. It's gone through a couple of players. It's gone into his hands. He's just got to get a bit of contact on it and it will be away. It's too easy, Pickford is going to be disappointed with that.

  10. Postpublished at 15:19 British Summer Time 26 October 2019

    Brighton 1-0 Everton

Pascal Gross' first goal of the season - and what a goal - has brought this game to life.

The hosts have a spring in their step while Everton - who are yet to win away from home in the league this season - look crestfallen.

Personally I think Jordan Pickford should be saving that. It's the middle of the goal. It's not gone into the top corner.

Luke Trainer: VAR needs to be used more effectively. Not this clear and obvious mistake. If they’re wrong they’re wrong. I’m sure the ref would much rather a mistake over turned that the next day seeing his incorrect decision that led to a goal.

    That's what you call a free-kick!

Andre Gomes carelessly concedes a free-kick just outside his penalty area and up steps Pascal Gross to arrow it past Jordan Pickford and into the far corner.

    A brilliant set-piece.

This game has yet to get going. It's a real slow-burner.

The brightest thing in the opening 10 minutes has been Everton's pink shirts.

No saves, no shots on target, no shots by either team.

Robert Snodgrass is making a nuisance of himself. He drives down the right but can't cut inside Enda Stevens, who stands his ground in the box.

It's all West Ham at the moment.

    Brighton 0-0 Everton

Everton are playing with real composure. They've seen a fair chunk of possession and they've kept Brighton pinned inside their own half.

Theo Walcott looks determined to make an impression.

He's starting in the Premier League for just the third time this season.
