Christian Pulisic now has as many Premier League hat-tricks as the great Teemu Pukki.

    Career goals.

Keep on like this and Christian Pulisic will be the new Cristiano Ronaldo. (If he keeps scoring hat-tricks).

Would I have expected the American winger to score a header against Burnley?

No, I would not. Game over.

He has his first senior hat-trick, his first goals for the club as well after starting for the first time since the end of August.

    And boy was he celebrating.

    Willian

    Oh this is lovely!

A cheeky stepover and Willian gains a yard of space on the right side of the box. Then it's a perfect finish into the far corner.

    Brilliant.

Mason Mount swings a cross in from the left and Christian Pulisic nods it in off the back of his head.

A perfect hat-trick for the American!

In Kepa, Tomori, Kovacic, Mount, Pulisic, Abraham & Odoi, Chelsea has the best core young players in the Premier League. These boys will mature soon and will dominate for years to come.

    Nathan

Not sure what OJ is talking about. Barnes has loads from outside the box!!

Well Willian got booked for fouling Dwight McNeil. But I'm sure Burnley would have preferred a couple of yellows than two Chelsea goals.

Christian Pulisic goes on one of those runs through the middle and has Willian to his right in support. He ignores him and opts to go left instead but the pass it cut out.

Almost shades of Christian Pulisic in a Dwight McNeil run there as he won the ball and took on several men but Chelsea defended a lot better than Burnley and managed to stop him.

Dwight McNeil is fouled by Willian but the referee plays advantage. The 19-year-old is forced sideways and ends up losing out to Mason Mount but doesn't get anything from it.

    The home fans aren't happy.

Jay Rodriguez has a go. It's a tight angle and he's a long way out on the right side of the box. Kepa gathers it in at the near post.

It's all Burnley in the second half!

  15. CLOSE!published at 50 mins

    Burnley 0-2 Chelsea

Ashley Barnes has wasted another good chance but this is the hardest of the lot today.

It's lifted over the top and he is turning as he volleys it from about 10 yards out. He had so much time though. It ends up bobbling into Kepa's arms.

The ball won't fall for Jeff Hendrick on the edge of the box and there's a coming together with a few players.

VAR checks it quickly but there's nothing in it.

Adam: Fabinho and Robertson took a while to become weekly starters. Maybe, just maybe, Frank knew what he was doing.

Agubata Odinaka: Captain America strikes twice and Burnley are two goals down. You would have thought Sean Dyche would show them the movie in training as part of the preparations for this game.

A dangerous ball from the left bounces off Kurt Zouma and comes off Kepa's head and out for a corner at the near post!
