"Is this a library" ask the Chelsea fans before changing to "is this the Emirates"?

A pretty cold library if this is one.

Koome Erick: How about that by Pulisic! He is not getting out of that 11 anytime soon!

Roberta-lyn Grant: Watching Burnley v Chelsea - this could be 3-4 written all over it?!

Nii: Chelsea still vulnerable to set pieces. That’s a weakness they need to work on

Dwight McNeil is the playmaker again. He plays in Ashley Barnes, whose touch takes him left of the goal, just inside the box.

He is off balance when he hits it and ends up skewing it way over.

Ben Mee wins the ball in the air again but this time he's offside. Burnley causing problems at set-pieces, which isn't a surprise.

You'd have put your mortgage on almost Austrian Ashley Barnes scoring from there.

Burnley have reacted so well since the goal. Feels like a goal could be coming.

OH NO. Ashley Barnes has just missed a sitter.

Ben Mee's towering header lays it on a plate for Barnes at the far post but the striker just seemed to run past the ball.

    He completely mistimes it!

After a slow start Pulisic is starting to look the part as a real star of the Premier League.

Why do journeymen footballers try to play football above their actual abilities. Result Burnley are one down.

Willian picks out Christian Pulisic with a superb diagonal ball from the right and the American takes one touch before drilling it towards goal.

It takes a slight deflection but Nick Pope keeps his eye on the ball and makes a smart block. The chances are coming now!

The Burnley fans around us in the press box thought that was in when Erik Pieters' shot took a deflection, but Kepa saved well.

Big signs of encouragement, they have taken the game to Chelsea since the goal.

  13. GREAT SAVE!published at 26 mins

    Burnley 0-1 Chelsea

Erik Pieters thinks it's going in when he catches it on the volley from the left side of the box and absolutely thumps it.

But a deflection takes some of the pace off it and Kepa reacts well to get a strong hand on it and push it away.

Jay Rodriquez plays a lovely ball over to Ashley Barnes on the right and he has acres of space. But he getshis feet all tangled and has to settle for a corner.

The resulting set-piece is aimed at James Tarkowski at the back post. He does really well to nod it back into the middle but Barnes can only divert his header wide before Tammy Abraham clears.

American journalists and fans had been wondering why Christian Pulisic wasn't in the Chelsea team. Well he's looked good in recent weeks when he's played and he might be in the team to stay now.

It was good play by the January/summer signing to win the ball in midfield, beat a couple of defenders and then slot home.

    Christian Pulisic

Matthew Lowton won't want to see this again.

He is robbed in midfield after dawdling on the ball and Christian Pulisic is off! He keeps his nerve, beating one defender then shimmying to his left to gain space on another.

He then strikes it neatly into the far corner for his first Chelsea goal in the Premier League. It means a lot to him too!

Phillip Mulvaney: Silva out regardless of pathetic VAR. Silva is clueless we are going nowhere.

We have the players but not the right manager. Even at 1-2 you felt it was never going to be enough under a Silva team. Even a win against Watford isn't enough. Time to go Marco.

Dwight McNeil looks really bright. He uses his pace to get away down the left and has a pop from a tight angle.

Comfortable save for Kepa Arrizabalaga but Burnley definitely have an outlet through teenager McNeil.
