    Man City 0-1 Southampton

    Tim Cahill
Former Everton midfielder on Final Score

It's a fumble from Edison which is not always what you see from Manchester City. It's great poaching from James Ward-Prouse, it was a great follow up. He has to clear that up and it's great anticipation for the goal. Southampton have limited Manchester City to chances. It was against the run of play but it is positive for Saints.

    John Lundstram.

First blood to the Blades who are now up to sixth in the table!

It's a decent finish from former Everton youth player John Lundstram who slots into the bottom corner.

    Great chance for Liverpool.

Jordan Henderson's lopping cross finds Sadio Mane but his header dips just wide.

    That's Liverpool's best chance.

Another Wolves chance as Ruben Neves lets fly from outside the penalty area. High and wide. It's 6-0 to Wolves in terms of shots.

  6. goal

GOAL - Man City 0-1 Southamptonpublished at 15:14 Greenwich Mean Time 2 November 2019

    James Ward-Prowse (12 mins)

    Well would you believe it!

Southampton got absolutely trounced by Leicester a week ago but they, unbelievably, lead at the champions.

It is a mistake by Ederson as he spills Stuart Armstrong's long-range strike and James Ward-Prowse is there to stab in the loose ball.

    Arsenal 0-0 Wolves

Mesut Ozil is making a rare Premier League start.

He started the match wearing black gloves but has just whipped them off and thrown them on the side of the pitch.

    Brighton 0-0 Norwich

Out of nowhere, Norwich go close! Marco Stiepermann's hitting the bar with a fine strike from the edge of the box.

    Let off for Brighton.

    Man City 0-0 Southampton

Yan Valery plays the ball over the top for Danny Ings and he races towards goal. Ings looked to be massively offside but the flag stays down and Ederson is quick off his line to head clear.

Newcastle are enjoying the lion's share of possession at the moment but no chances yet for either side. Both teams are still sussing each other out.

Free-kick to Wolves 25 yards out. Joao Moutinho lines it up and dinks it over the wall but Bernd Leno is alert to the danger. Wolves have had 63% possession in the opening nine minutes.

    Brighton 0-0 Norwich

I haven't seen many of Norwich's recent games but they certainly look more conservative than they did in the first few weeks of the season. They overload their own box in an effort to frustrate Brighton and it works as an attack fizzles out.

    Sheff Utd 0-0 Burnley

There's been a flurry of corners at both ends of Bramall Lane but no chances for either side.

    Man City 0-0 Southampton

Southampton fans are cheering as Ilkay Gündogan launches one onto the roof of the Etihad.

It has been all Manchester City, though, with the Saints defending very, very deep.

    Aston Villa 0-0 Liverpool

    Chris Waddle
Ex-Tottenham and England winger on BBC Radio 5 Live

Good start from Villa, not the best touch from El Ghazi but it was a great reflex save from Alisson. Villa are full of confidence and pressing high.

    Aston Villa 0-0 Liverpool

Lively opening at Villa Park. The hosts have already created one decent chance - Anwar El Ghazi shooting straight at Alisson.

    West Ham 0-0 Newcastle

Aside from a bout of head tennis, there's not much happening at West Ham. Scrappy start.

  19. Postpublished at 15:05 Greenwich Mean Time 2 November 2019

    Arsenal 0-0 Wolves

What a start by Wolves. They're all over the Gunners who are having trouble getting out of their own half. Arsenal are also giving the ball away far too easily.

  20. Postpublished at 15:04 Greenwich Mean Time 2 November 2019

    Brighton 0-0 Norwich

Aaron Connolly's deflected effort goes just wide as Norwich almost pay the price for some slack defending.

    Positive start by the hosts.
