    Crystal Palace 0-0 Liverpool

    Matt Upson
Former England and West Ham defender on BBC Radio 5 Live

That was a real chance - in fact that's an understatement. That was a critical chance. That almost sums up why Crystal Palace are not scoring goals. Jordan Ayew needs to bury chances like that but he misses too many of them.

    Massive chance for Palace!

Cheikhou Kouyate pings the ball to the incoming Jordan Ayew but he stabs it wide from close range.

That's a huge let-off for Liverpool - Ayew should have scored and he knows it.

Big Gray: Seven men in Arsenal's half for that goal. Not one of them switched on. Shocking defending.

Bradley: There’s no leader in this Arsenal defence. Emery will be the next to go.

  7. 'Embarassing from Arsenal'published at 15:14 Greenwich Mean Time 23 November 2019

    Arsenal 0-1 Southampton.

    Kevin Kilbane
Former Republic of Ireland winger on Final Score

There’s no one in that Arsenal defence taking responsibility, they completely switched off.

David Luiz was embarrassing. He actually turned away from the ball.

Danny Ings is totally free and finishes it well. That's a bad goal for Sunday League never mind the Premier League.

That summed up Arsenal defensive unit over the last few years.

    Crystal Palace 0-0 Liverpool

    Matt Upson
Former England and West Ham defender on BBC Radio 5 Live

It's hard to explain how well Liverpool have started. Crystal Palace cannot get anywhere near the ball. The movement and precision of their passing is just superb. Even when they get wide, the overloads that they create is amazing. It's so difficult for any defence to manage.

    Danny Ings

    Lovely finish!

Saints win a free-kick inside Arsenal's half and Ryan Bertrand takes it quick.

It sets Danny Ings free but the former Liverpool man still has an awful lot to do. He keeps his cool and finishes in-off the post.

    Crystal Palace 0-0 Liverpool

    Matt Upson
Former England and West Ham defender on BBC Radio 5 Live

Crystal Palace are comfortable on their own 18 yard line, they are comfortable sitting back and defending deep. The only problem is that when they clear it, there is no one there for them to attack with. There is not a lot of pressure on the ball. They are happy to let Liverpool move the ball around.
