Aaron: A foul is a foul, if it happens on another part of the pitch then the ref would go and give a warning a card. It doesn’t matter where it happens
David: VAR was brought in to assist referees, not make every decision in the game! The rules need to change, if the ref gets a bus in his ear to check VAR, then he should be the one to go to the touchline screen and review it!
FT: West Ham 2-3 Tottenham
Tottenham Hotspur
Tottenham manager Jose Mourinho speaking to Match of the Day: "It’s not about me, it’s about the players and the club. The team was too long without a victory away from home.
"The most important thing is for the players to have that smile, to go to the dressing room away from home, music on, smile on their faces and happiness. I am looking forward to the next game on Tuesday.
"I am really happy to be with this boys, and I told Daniel Levy when he contacted me the first time: I like the players very much, and I think they know this and they feel it.
"I learnt that the players want to win and want to sacrifice themselves for the team, I am just here to help them.
"I am just here to help them. I will hate if somebody say 'Jose made an impact'. I made no impact. Nothing. I just helped them a little bit to win this match."
FT: West Ham 2-3 Tottenham
West Ham manager Manuel Pellegrini speaking to Match of the Day: "They put pressure on us and we could not do what we wanted to do. The players never gave up and we came back at the end but not quick enough. I think it was a tight game for both at the start but after they scored their first goal we struggled. They put us under pressure and we put ourselves under pressure. Fans are always behind us but there have been too many games especially at home that we have not won."
On Antonio returning from injury: "I have seen him working all week. We knew he would not start but I hoped he could feature. He is coming back from injury but the way he has been working on the training ground came across on the pitch today."

Tottenham Hotspur
Tottenham's Dele Alli speaking to Match of the Day: 'It was a good result, I am happy that we won the game, it was a very positive performance from us.
'It has been a very difficult week, there’s no hiding how much Pochettino meant to the players and in particularly me. I can’t thank him enough for what he did for me.
On Mourinho's impact: 'We did not really changed to much, just a few little tweaks, maybe a few changes in the way we press.
'It is still early days, I am feeling good and strong, it is a positive result today and we need to go in every game with confidence.

West Ham United
West Ham midfielder Michail Antonio speaking to BT Sport: "First half we were not up to par but in from the second half there is a lot of things we can take with us and help us move forwards to the next game.
"In the first half no one really could get any opportunities but second half I feel like we could have got one more and got ht point. We are going to keep fighting, we are not down or out yet but we have lots of positives to take away."
You'll probably have seen that Spurs won their first game under Jose Mourinho earlier, 3-2 at West Ham. Here is what some of the main figures had to say after that match...
Watford 0-0 Burnley
Burnley do survive. Deulofeu takes the free-kick himself and beats the wall but not Pope, who pushes it away before the whistle blows for the break.
Watford 0-0 Burnley
James Tarkowski takes a big risk. He sticks his boot out to trip Gerard Deulofeu as the Spaniard charged towards the area. It is just outside, gives the home side a very dangerous free-kick but only gets the Burnley man a booking. If they survive the free-kick it'll have been worth it.

Lam Bo: It’s got to the point where we are wondering every time a goal is scored, if VAR is going to disallow the goal. Completely ruining the game.
Javel Bleach: There was a push but it was off the ball & wouldn't have changed the outcome. If the ref doesn't look at the monitor, who do you blame when the decision is WRONG?
Crystal Palace 0-0 Liverpool
Kevin Kilbane
Former Republic of Ireland winger on Final Score
That’s a joke. Jordan Ayew runs into Dejan Lovren but that does not influence the goal.
That’s where the referee needs to see to the side-line and look at it. And that is what's killing the VAR this season.
Arsenal 1-1 Southampton
The locals aren't happy. Boos ring out at the Emirates as the players make their way off.
Crystal Palace 0-0 Liverpool
Some Palace players surround Kevin Friend after the referee blows for half-time. They're unhappy James Tomkins' goal was ruled out after a VAR check.
Brighton 0-0 Leicester
Somehow still goalless. Leicester have been largely in charge. It is absolutely smashing it down with rain.
Bournemouth 0-2 Wolves
Wolves are totally dominant.
Everton 0-0 Norwich
Again, Norwich threaten. Hernandez's pull back falls into the path of Sam Byram, whose shot is deflected over the bar for a corner.
The resulting set-piece is flicked away by Mason Holgate. It is the last act before the half-time whistle, which is met by boos from the home fans. For the home side? The ref? Probably both.
Crystal Palace 0-0 Liverpool
Drama.
Palace celebrations are cut short as VAR decides Dejan Lovren was shoved by Jordan Ayew before James Tomkins headed over the line.
The home fans can't believe it.
Crystal Palace 1-0 Liverpool
