    West Ham 1-3 Tottenham

So much has gone right for Mourinho today. But that goal is a small insight for him as to why he now has the Spurs job. They haven't been doing clean sheets this season.

  2. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 77 mins

    West Ham 1-3 Tottenham

Has that goal ended Eriksen's hopes of a cameo. Spurs' first change sees Danny Rose on for the limping Ben Davies.

    Michail Antonio

West Ham do have something about them after all!

Michail Antonio, who to be fair has looked the liveliest home player since coming on, fires in after receiving a little clipped pass from Mark Noble.

It is a glimmer of hope, where previously there was none. Fifteen minutes to play. It would be the most unlikely of salvage jobs.

  4. No Salah in starting XIpublished at 14:00 Greenwich Mean Time 23 November 2019
    Breaking

Mohamed Salah misses out on a place in Liverpool's starting line-up at Crystal Palace after treatment for an ankle problem. Salah only makes the bench but Andrew Robertson, who has had treatment for a similar injury, does make it.

    The leaders recall Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.

Elsewhere, Troy Deeney could make his first Watford appearance since August. The forward is on the bench against Burnley after recovering from knee surgery.

  5. Postpublished at 73 mins

    West Ham 0-3 Tottenham

Interesting. Christian Eriksen is getting ready to come on as he receives instruction from Mourinho. Chance to audition for Jose's side.

Meanwhile, Kane is fine and back into the action.

  6. Postpublished at 71 mins

    West Ham 0-3 Tottenham

Nope. Aaron Cresswell hits it, but slams it into the wall. I say wall, it was more Harry Kane's face. The striker is going to need a bit of nursing after that.

  7. YELLOW CARDpublished at 70 mins

    West Ham 0-3 Tottenham

Antonio is trying at least. He runs at the Spurs defence and draws a foul that earns Ben Davies a booking. The Hammers may even test the keeper with this free-kick.

To be fair, Spurs needed a shake up and it looks like they've got it, whatever the opposition, you still have to beat them !

I walked through a park near my home yesterday and there was a filthy, punctured shell of a bouncy castle lying in the mud near the tea shop. This West Ham team looks more deflated and broken.

Manuel Pellegrini's final throw of the dice. Issa Diop is off and on comes Carlos Sanchez. There are boos from the home fans. It's getting toxic.

Idezu Franz-Sampson: For all the rants about Mr Pellegrini here today, I actually think he's capable of taking West Ham to great heights! And I genuinely think he's gonna be sacked just yet

Chris Lord: Take this result with a pinch of salt Spurs, Pellegrini is joining either Hassenhuttl or Emery at the job centre on Monday...

  13. 'No aggression from West Ham'published at 13:50 Greenwich Mean Time 23 November 2019

    West Ham 0-3 Tottenham

    Bradley Allen
Tottenham Hotspur academy coach on BBC Radio London

The aggression and determination of any West Ham team playing a derby against Spurs has not been there.

Yes there was some fifty-fifty challenges at the beginning of the match, but once Spurs have got in front and controlled the game they have not really laid a glove on them

  14. Postpublished at 63 mins

    West Ham 0-3 Tottenham

Nearly 4-0. Kane gets away and is racing in on goal, but Issa Diop tracks him and does really well to dive in and tackle just as the Spurs striker was considering which part of Roberto to shoot right through and score.

To be fair, the defender had to do something, as it was his missed header that led Kane in.

A West Ham shot. Antonio switches feet and gets an effort away but it is straight at Paulo Gazzaniga, who saves.

  16. Postpublished at 60 mins

    West Ham 0-3 Tottenham

Tottenham under no requirement to do anything but bask in this and hold West Ham at bay. And right now, that is simple as you like. The Hammers are offering nothing.

Jose Mourinho has left his notepad on the bench, having written in it regularly during the first half. I'm assuming he just wrote "job done" after Kane's goal.

Michael Ball: Enjoying watching Spurs again. Definite sadness that we couldn't do this under Poch. It's still his team and his players. Mourinho has just refined the recipe a bit.

How can you only have one decent goalkeeper in a squad of 40 players? Ridiculous.

    Nick, Cheltenham

  19. Postpublished at 55 mins

    West Ham 0-3 Tottenham

Pablo Fornals is ready to come on. I can't see it making much difference.

Give the West Ham players the chance to fast forward the clock 30 minutes and get out of here with a 3-0 loss, I bet they'd snap your hand off.

Rachel T: Tottenham look like a team again. To be fair, that’s all they need to be against this appalling West Ham side.

Josh Earl: as good as Spurs are, West Ham are absolutely dismal.
