Great pressure so far from Sheffield and they are excellent at keeping the ball. They are moving the ball from left to right, not rushing. Everyone knows their jobs and now they have another corner. Since the goal, there has been no let off since their goal.

Pablo Sanchez: I'm not the biggest Phil Jones fan (who is), but how on earth was that not a foul in the lead up to Sheffield Utd's goal? What's the use of VAR if not to pick up instances exactly like this?

I am a complete neutral, but how can a foul be given against Palace on Lovren yesterday, but that's not a foul on Jones?

Manchester United are giving the ball away far too cheaply. It's taken them 29 minutes to test keeper Simon Moore who is making his first Premier League start in place of Dean Henderson. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer needs to change something because it is Sheffield United who look more likely to score the next goal.

The Blades, once again, are causing havoc on the wings and with their crosses.

On this occasion the visitors manager to get away with it following a wicked delivery from Oliver Norwood.

Manchester United produce their first shot on target!

It comes from the boot of Anthony Martial, although it's a bit of scuffed one from the edge of the area.

Keeper Simon Moore could have nipped out to do his shopping before saving that.

A word about Lys Mousset. A few weeks back Chris Wilder said that the forward was not quite match-fit and challenged him to get into better condition.

    He's already proved himself today.

Meanwhile, Phil Jagielka's taken out goalscorer and his team-mate John Fleck - but he's OK.

    The Blades are sharpened again!

This time David McGoldrick glides forward before striking a low 18-yard shot which is held by David De Gea.

The Spaniard might prove to be Solskjaer's most important player today.

Sheffield United are just loving life in the Premier League. They've come out snapping and snarling at Manchester United and now they have the lead.

There is a debate raging in the press box as to whether Lys Mousset fouled Phil Jones in the build-up.

But make no mistake - the Blades deserve the lead.

Olamide: Solskjaer's tactics not working one bit. We're being overrun in the midfield and he has to do something about it fast before we go 2 nil down.

Shane O'Neill: De Gea brilliant today, but the defence are simply awful. Would be nice if Utd turned up. Midfield is non-existent

    That was almost 2-0!

Goalscorer John Fleck whips in a beauty of an in-swinger - Fred gets his head to the ball and it whistles past the far post.

Nothing comes of the corner much to the delight of the visitors. They could do with HT now - but they have to wait another 23 minutes.

It's a goal Sheffield United deserve, especially after the double save from David de Gea. What was so impressive was how quickly they got players forwards and in numbers. I think that's really worrying though that VAR has not picked up on the fact that Phil Jones was bundled over. Is that not a foul? I think so.

    John Fleck

    Oh Phil Jones!

The defender is one-on-one with Lys Mousset on the right. He tries to clear the ball but is shrugged off by the forward who charges into the area and sets up John Lundstram.

His strike is saved but the loose ball pretty much rebounds off John Fleck and into David de Gea's far corner.

The Blades were very short on numbers there as Daniel James sped down the right.

His cross was cleared by Chris Basham in the area with Marcus Rashford lurking behind the defender.

    Bubbling.
