    Chelsea 0-0 West Ham

While all that was going on in Merseyside and North London, there was a decent chance for West Ham. Michail Antonio was creating a nuisance of himself in the Chelsea box, using his strength to meet Robert Snodgrass's cross with his head and force Kepa Arrizabalaga into a smart save.

    Liverpool 2-0 Brighton

Brighton's attempts to play it out from the back have failed miserably so far but this is better. It comes out to Aaron Mooy on the right but his cross is intercepted by Virgil van Dijk.

    Burnley 0-0 Crystal Palace

There's another shot on target at Turf Moor!

Well, it's not quite a shot. It's a deflection off James Tomkins' shin after a scramble in the box. But that's just details...

It ends up comfortably in Nick Pope's arms anyway.

  5. 'Brighton are not fast enough'published at 15:29 Greenwich Mean Time 30 November 2019

    Pat Nevin

At the moment everything Brighton do at the moment is wrong. When they go forwards, which is rare, they are just not fast enough to be able to make anything of it. You worry for them in this game.

  6. Postpublished at 15:28 Greenwich Mean Time 30 November 2019

    Burnley 0-0 Crystal Palace

Very cagey at Turf Moor. Burnley are well drilled and well organised. Palace are passing it around but with no real zip or zest.

Boring, in other words. I had that pinned as a three-goal affair. It's letting me down!

Ideozu-Frank Sampson: Dele Alli is player clearly reborn under Jose Mourinho! He is so integral to what Mourinho wants to achieve at Spurs.

    Liverpool 2-0 Brighton

Jurgen Klopp is loving every single second. Roberto Firmino, Georginio Wijnaldum and Sadio Mane are onto Adam Webster like a bad rash and he loses the ball in his own half.

Mane races onto it and drives towards the backline but his cut-back is pounced upon at the near post.

    Relentless.

Ruled out. The ball does indeed touch Sanchez's hand. Clearly accidental, but under the rules introduced this season it has to be chalked off.

    Hang on...

There is a suspicion among the office staff at Stockley Park that Sanchez may have used a hand to control it...

GOAL - Tottenham 2-0 Bournemouthpublished at 15:26 Greenwich Mean Time 30 November 2019

    Davinson Sanchez

Tottenham started slowly but they are moving along at a rate now.

Moussa Sissoko's shows fancy footwork which would score 9/10 on Strictly, allowing him to shoot goalwards from the edge of the box.

That smacks the body of Davinson Sanchez, who reacts quickly to slot in.

    Pat Nevin

Virgil van Dijk got so much height on that. The ball is played perfectly. He is getting better and better and better in every single aspect of his game. He is not just important as a defender, he is so important everywhere on the pitch.

  13. 'Alli playing with more freedom'published at 15:25 Greenwich Mean Time 30 November 2019

    Garth Crooks

Dele Alli is playing witm more freedom and more forward.

Sometimes he was playing too deep and he does not want that responsability.

Mourinho seems to have given him that licence to push forward.

  14. goal

GOAL - Liverpool 2-0 Brightonpublished at 15:24 Greenwich Mean Time 30 November 2019

    Virgil van Dijk

    He's done it again!

It's basically the same goal but from the other side. Trent Alexander-Arnold's corner from the left is nodded in by Virgil van Dijk.

Trent, Virgil, score, repeat. The centre-back is on a hat-trick!

  15. Postpublished at 15:24 Greenwich Mean Time 30 November 2019

    Liverpool 1-0 Brighton

Davy Propper whips a very dangerous ball across the six-yard box from the right. Virgil van Dijk doesn't realise there's nobody behind him and slides in to deflect it wide.

He doesn't get a clean touch on it and it's not too far away from his own net. Alisson probably had it covered but there were a few intakes of breath from the fans sitting in the Kop!

  16. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 15:23 Greenwich Mean Time 30 November 2019

Ooof! West Ham keeper David Martin is almost caught out by Reece James' deflected cross, which loops off Aaron Cresswell and pings the outside of his left-hand post.

Brighton can’t afford Trent Alexander-Arnold or Andy Robertson to have any time on the ball because with their quality it will just kill you.

  18. goal

GOAL - Tottenham 1-0 Bournemouthpublished at 15:21 Greenwich Mean Time 30 November 2019

    Dele Alli

One ball long, one stunned touch and one precise finish. And Spurs are one-nil up with their first shot on target.

Toby Alderweireld plays an Hollywood ball from the back, expertly picking out Son Heung-min, whose deft touch lays it on a plate for Dele Alli to tap in.

  19. CLOSE!published at 15:21 Greenwich Mean Time 30 November 2019

Liverpool are really going for it. Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain's shot is deflected to Sadio Mane off Lewis Dunk but Mat Ryan makes another big save from close-range.

Roberto Firmino had come close seconds before too!
