Aston Villa boss Dean Smith: "I wasn't disappointed with the performance, just the manner of their first goal. Marcus Rashford has a header from six yards from a short corner and we've seen it done before so we didn't do our jobs in the penalty box. The first half performance was good, we pressed when we needed to and used the ball very well.
"Second half, they started better, they won a few duels which got the crowd on their side and we had to show rearguard action which we did every well. Not sure we could do more for the second goal, and it's funny how football works. Jack Grealish missed a chance just before that. We didn't have long to wait for the equaliser.
"He knows more than anybody that nine times out of 10 he scores that. He'll be pleased because of his goal but he won't sleep because of that miss."

Matt: Villa not going to win a cup? We are in the quarters of the League Cup playing Liverpool's kids. Grealish is Villa through and through and we are building a good squad.
Jack Grealish is not better (or worse) than Aston Villa - he IS Aston Villa.

Manchester United captain Harry Maguire: "As a team we are improving but we want to improve a lot more. To not win games at home is disappointing. We huffed and puffed but we need to do better and Wednesday [home to Spurs] gives us a great opportunity to put that right.
"We were poor after their first goal. It knocked us and we were edgy and nervous. To concede straight away after going in front its disappointing.
"We dominated for large parts of the second half."

Leicester manager Brendan Rodgers speaking to Sky Sports: "So proud of the team. Playing against a team 5-4-1 - then when you concede it's even more difficult. We reiterated at half time about keeping the patience.
"In the second half we had an idea of changing the pattern. Just before we scored we started to break through. Then after the first goal we got good momentum. With a better pass we could have had more. I'm happy for him (Iheanacho) and the other guys because they don't play as much. I'm so, so pleased.
On if Jamie Vardy should be available for England duty: "Listen he's a top player is Jamie. He's very happy working and getting recovery during international breaks."
On VAR's decision on the Foxes' second goal: "One thing to mention is that ref and officials get criticism, but today was a real plus. The penalty when you see it back, ref Graham Scott gave it but VAR didn't and was probably right. Then VAR proved Iheanacho's strike was a goal.
Regarding having a clause in his own contract that would allow him to leave:
"Listen, there are probably clauses in most managers' contracts. It's all hypothetical. We got a brilliant win. We came back very well. I made a change eight, nine months ago. I feel so happy. We still have a lot of work to do.
"I've been very fortunate to work with some brilliant clubs and great institutions. The ambition was to help the club to arrive in the top six."

Zar: Most underrated players in the premier league this season: Wilfred Ndidi and Jack Grealish.
I don't often feel sympathy for managers but did a little there; Silva actually looked like he had tears in his eyes. Staring down the barrel.

Aston Villa boss Dean Smith has just told TV that Jack Grealish, who scored an outrageous goal, will not sleep tonight because of his second half miss. "That's the type of player he is," adds Smith. More from the Villa boss coming up.

Keith: Man Utd - Closer to relegation than the Champions League after 14 games.
Nick: Why on earth would the likes of Erling Braut Haland and Jadon Sancho choose to join Man United? It's shocking just how far we have fallen.

What are Aston Villa going to achieve? Staying in the Premier League.
If they achieve that it is going to be a great season for them, they are not winning a cup.
If Manchester City, Spurs or Chelsea come with a massive offer for Jack Grealish, let’s say £80m, I think he’ll go.
He’s far better than Aston Villa.

Leicester striker Jamie Vardy speaking to Sky Sports on the VAR decision: "We've had decisions go against us at the other end and we deserve it."
On Kelechi Iheanacho's influence: "We were having a few chances but they were coming from a bit further out. Kelechi caused a few more problems for the defenders, he got us into space and he got the winner which he deserves. He thoroughly deserves this."
On whether Leicester can fight for the title: "We've not been speaking about that, we're taking each game as it comes. The first thing is to get each game out the way and get the three points. We have to enjoy this and go again on Wednesday night. We have lots of attacking threat and we're putting it all together. We'll just carry on doing what we're doing."

Aston Villa defender Tyrone Mings: "It's a tough point and a well-deserved point, we made a few mistakes in the build-up to their goals, and they had a few chances so we are satisfied with a point.
"I thought I was onside for my goal, but I didn’t want to celebrate just in case. I got back into position.
Told that he had missed a chance to celebrate a goal at Old Trafford, he added: "Yeah and my first Premier League goal. I would have dedicated the goal to Benik Afobe's daughter had I been able to celebrate."

Leicester goalscorer Kelechi Iheanacho speaking to Sky Sports: "I've been waiting for this opportunity. I knew one day it's going to come. I'm happy today to get the goal and assisting Jamie.
"You can call me Mr.VAR [Iheanacho scored the first goal awarded by VAR in England in his side's third-round replay against Fleetwood Town in the FA Cup in 2018] - I knew it was a goal. I was onside. Happy that VAR gave me it."

Charlie: If Ole was at any other club in the league he would have been sacked by now. No direction, no urgency and he thinks we will get top 4!
Willem: Good thing Man Utd rested all those players during the week. Villa would have been out of sight by now otherwise.

Manchester United have spells of 15 minutes when they move it well and there’s lot of energy and it looks good on the eye.
They are good when they play at high tempo and move the ball quickly but they seem to play at a slow pace and it does not suit them.
Villa looked like the home side for a long period of this game.
In the second half United upped the tempo but Villa lived with them and they deserved to win the game.
