Matthew: Pogba out, Matic out, McTominay out. The awful Pereira and Fred the only fit senior midfielders, youngsters on the bench. Couldn't bring in any midfielders in the ONLY transfer window Ole's had and HE'S the one to blame for the poor quality of the midfield? Grow up.

Desidose: Ole is like most of his players, learning on the job, so you'll have your ups and downs: stick with him

The linesman knows more than Tyrone Mings then.

Mings did not celebrate after he put the ball in the net, so sure was the Aston Villa defender that he was offside.

The linesman kept his flag down. VAR checked it. The linesman was right.

    Jamie Vardy

    Instead.

Jamie Vardy who has had half a sniff during match pops up at the far corner to tuck in Kelechi Iheanacho's low ball.

Simple goal - Everton went to sleep having concentrated so well for much of the match.

Djibril Sidibe hurtles down the left but his shot takes a small deflection on its way to the gloves of Kasper Schmeichel.

The former Chippenham Town defender scores at Old Trafford!

It's a lovely volley by Tyrone Mings from Matt Targett's cross but was he offside?

VAR is checks it out...and the goal stands because Brandon Williams was playing him on.

Where was this Everton against Norwich City?

    Chris Waddle
Ex-Tottenham and England winger on BBC Radio 5 Live

Aston Villa are getting a lot of joy with Trezeguet, who is quite direct and quick and willing to run at the full-back Williams who is inexperienced.

But it is more of an even game now, Man United have upped the tempo.

Anthony Martial was pretty anonymous in the first half but he almost wiggles through Aston Villa's defence to test Tom Heaton before Juan Mata goes down inside the penalty area after a tackle by Frederic Guilbert. Replays show that was a decent challenge.

Rishabh: OGS has no clue his best team. Not the CB partnership, not the midfield duo. Plus Aaron Wan-Bissaka looks tired

Felt sorry for Mata in the first half. Supposed to be the link man to the front three but Pereira and Fred failed to find him.
