  3. goal

GOAL - Burnley 0-2 Manchester Citypublished at 21:22 Greenwich Mean Time 3 December 2019

    Gabriel Jesus (50 mins)

Keep it tight for 15 lads...Ah.

That's another excellent goal from Gabriel Jesus, who is the third-highest Brazilian goalscorer in the annals of the Premier League now. Bernardo Silva bends in a cross from the right, Jesus is onside and meets it on the full, crashing a volley right into the top corner from about six yards out.

Raheem Sterling runs at the Burnley defence, backs up James Tarkowski and looks up but overhits his pass to Bernardo Silva. A chance wasted.

  7. 'Flat'published at 21:16 Greenwich Mean Time 3 December 2019

    Crystal Palace 1-0 Bournemouth

    Charlie Adam
Reading midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Live Sports Extra

Tonight has been flat for Bournemouth. Ryan Fraser has come on and done OK, but overall, they have been poor tonight.

Mamadou Sakho got sent off but Cheikhou Kouyate has gone in there and looked as if he has been playing there all season. Callum Wilson has not had a kick and Palace have been so organised. It's them who look like they could score another goal.

  8. GREAT SAVE!published at 21:16 Greenwich Mean Time 3 December 2019

    Crystal Palace 1-0 Bournemouth

There we go! A good effort from 18 yards by Jefferson Lerma which may have taken a touch on the way and Vicente Guaita gets down well to make a good save.

  9. Postpublished at 21:15 Greenwich Mean Time 3 December 2019

    Crystal Palace 1-0 Bournemouth

Five minutes left for Bournemouth. They've played 10 men for nearly 70 minutes now and haven't had a shot on target in the second half.

  10. Postpublished at 21:12 Greenwich Mean Time 3 December 2019

Adam Smith swings in a cross but it's over every man in lime green. An opportunity lost for the Cherries tonight?

  11. 'Rodri and De Bruyne excellent'published at 21:11 Greenwich Mean Time 3 December 2019

    HT: Burnley 0-1 Manchester City

    Stephen Warnock
Ex-Liverpool defender on Radio 5 Live

Manchester City have been brilliant. They weathered the storm in the first 5-10 minutes as we knew Burnley were going to try and throw everything at them. Rodri has been excellent. He's won every second ball and senses danger straight away.

Kevin de Bruyne has been absolutely out of this world. I just love watching him play - the positions he takes up. He makes it difficult for the midfielders, the centre-backs don't know whether to go in on him. His all-round play is just so nice to watch.

  14. 'Great strike'published at 21:08 Greenwich Mean Time 3 December 2019

    Crystal Palace 1-0 Bournemouth

    Charlie Adam
Reading midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Live Sports Extra

Bournemouth did not start the game well and they have looked lacklustre, and now it has caught up on them.

Jeffrey Schlupp picks up the ball inside the Bournemouth half, dribbles past two players and it's a great strike past Aaron Ramsdale

    Jeff Schlupp (76 mins)

Keeper! Crisp packet hands from Aaron Ramsdale as sub Jeff Schlupp puts the 10 men ahead!

It's a strong run from Schlupp, beats two men, weaves into the area and gets a shot away but it's close to the Bournemouth keeper. He should do better surely?

    Burnley 0-1 Manchester City

    Stephen Warnock
Ex-Liverpool defender on Radio 5 Live

Burnley have got eight players in the box when Manchester City get high up the pitch. Every time the ball has gone up to Chris Wood, City have won it back straight away and made it tough for him. Burnley haven't found a way out this half.
