Title race back on - City are only 14 points behind Liverpool going into 2020.
Man City 2-0 Sheff Utd
Billy Sharp!!!!
Claudio Bravo, who we've pretty much not mentioned today, can only watch (perhaps he could have tried to dive) as the Blades striker's header comes off one post and rolls along the line.
That's as close as the visitors have come.
Man City 2-0 Sheff Utd
Phil Foden goes exploring.
His shot takes a small deflection and goes out for a corner. The ball eventually goes out for a goal-kick.
There can't be too much stoppage time here.
Man City 2-0 Sheff Utd
We're at the burning embers stage.
Gabriel Jesus comes on for Raheem Sterling.
Man City 2-0 Sheff Utd
Enda Stevens brings down Phil Foden and is shown yellow.
Perhaps Foden should have released the ball earlier, tbf.
Free-kick.
Riyad Mahrez over it.
The ball strikes the wall and goes out for a corner.
Kevin de Bruyne
Riyad Mahrez surges forwards, cuts inside and finds Kevin de Bruyne.
The Belgian elects to keep his shot low this time and beats Dean Henderson with a fizzer.
City's best move of the half.
Man City 1-0 Sheff Utd
Moments later, the home support produce ironic cheers as Massey-Ellis raises her flag for an actual Blades offside...
Meanwhile...
Man City 1-0 Sheff Utd
That's a weird one.
Lys Mousset looks a mile offside as the ball finds its way back into the area following an initial clearance, and fires a shot that takes a deflection.
The crowd and City players are incensed assistant Sian Massey-Ellis didn't raise her flag.
There's a reason for that - Mousset was played on by the 'slow to react' Eric Garcia.

Zred: We can blame VAR all day long but, the ref played as a holding midfielder for Man City in that build up for their goal.
Simon Turner: Does referee Chris Kavanagh get an assist on the City goal?
Khan Karn: The ref obstructed Sheffield United player from defending there. Otherwise De Bruyne wouldn't have been able to pass to Aguero, what is the ruling for that?

City have a free-kick on the edge of the area - pretty dead centre.

Man City 1-0 Sheff Utd
Riyad Mahrez twists and turns in the area after a nice move involving Sergio Aguero and Raheem Sterling before striking a shot that comes off the arm of John Egan.
It was accidental says VAR. And the referee.
Man City 1-0 Sheff Utd
Right!
Seen the replay of the Aguero goal.
The ref basically gets in the way of one Sheffield United player trying to pass to another. The ball comes off the intended recipient and finds it's way to De Bruyne.
The Belgian plays in Aguero and blah blah blah...
Liverpool 1-0 Wolves
Liverpool midfielder Adam Lallana claimed he knew he did not handle in the build-up to Sadio Mane's goal, although Wolves' players felt team-mate Virgil van Dijk had done so.
Lallana told Sky Sports: "I was fairly confident it hit in me the shoulder or chest. So I was surprised the ref gave the foul. He heard in his ear it was a handball. I was confident it wasn't.
"VAR? It's difficult. On an emotional level you are up and down. The process can be smoother."
Man City 1-0 Sheff Utd
Without the benefit of the VAR replay, it's hard to work out whether the ball flicked off the referee and to a City player or if the ref unintentionally blocked a Blades player.
Back to the action, Bernardo Silva is booked for a late lunge and David McGoldrick comes on for Callum Robinson.
Liverpool 1-0 Wolves
Liverpool
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp, speaking to BBC Match Of The Day: "It was a tough test and rightly so. We play for big stakes, and try to be successful and be as good as possible.
"Wolves are used to a tough rhythm of games. They made some changes. First half we were good and controlled the game, but I can imagine Wolves were not happy with the VAR decisions. However, the momentum went with them after that moment. We had nothing to do with the decisions.
"The second half they changed a bit. We were not fresh enough in mind to react. Alisson wanted to make the game quick, and nobody else wants to it to be! Football is like life. Sometimes you are 100% ready and sometimes not. It was a big fight today."

Liverpool
Even though his players benefited from VAR decisions, Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp was critical of how long decision-making takes.
Klopp told Sky Sports: "We are in December and coming into January. Players standing around that long waiting is not good. I would prefer if referees going to the screen.
"I think the first situation it would help. But if you think offside, then it takes a while. But with the possible handball it could be quicker. That's how we do it England at the moment. We were on the other side of VAR decisions at Aston Villa. These things happen, nobody likes it."
