The angle of the pass from Roberto Firmino to Mohamed Salah for that chance was wrong. The Egyptian wanted it on his other foot.
Liverpool 1-0 Wolves
Four on four, but Mohamed Salah's first touch, as he tried to set himself up, from Roberto Firmino's pass is too heavy.
Ten to go.

VAR has been the final nail in the coffin for football as we knew it..RIP.
Steve in North Wales
If these "offsides" continue, then the game we love has gone. We should be doing everything we can to increase the number of goals, not chalk them off. Joke.
Shaun in Harrogate
Get rid of VAR it's the most anti football thing invented its ruining this season's football it's clearly not the future of our game football is about goals not being 5 millimetres offside I'm a Leicester fan and I feel for wolves they seem to be having the worst of it. Bin it off in May and let's never talk about it again fans players and managers have had enough it's no longer fun to watch.

Man City 0-0 Sheff Utd
The Blades are doing much of the pressing in these opening moments at the Etihad.
Lys Mousset doesn't get enough of a head on Callum Robinson's cross from the left - might have had something to do with Oleksandr Zinchenko's boot near his face - and nods wide.
A good chance for the visitors.
Liverpool 1-0 Wolves
A little bit tasty there as Max Kilman gets involved with Mohamed Salah on the right-hand touchline.
The two usually placid characters walk away from each other calmly.
About 15 to go.
Liverpool 1-0 Wolves

This is the first period of prolonged Liverpool passing but Wolves still have a chance here.
Liverpool 1-0 Wolves
Back at Anfield, Nuno Espirito Santo twists for the final time as he brings on his key hitman Raul Jimenez for Diogo Jota.
Man City 0-0 Sheff Utd
Enda Stevens' cross from the left is cut out by Eric Garcia with Callum Robinson lurking in area.
A crucial clearance.
What a start by the Blades!

That's something you don't see very often... a mistake from Virgil van Dijk! There were several swear words from fans behind me before some relieved giggling when Alisson made the save. What a huge chance for Wolves!
Liverpool 1-0 Wolves
Adam "it was my shoulder, honest!" Lallana comes off the pitch to huge applause.
He is replaced by Naby Keita.
Meanwhile, Diogo Jota stings the palms of Alisson after a rare mistake by Virgil van Dijk.

Stephen Gillatt: Fans pay to watch football. Do a poll. Ask them if they want VAR in the game. Then when the response is unanimously against... Bin it.
Peter Lloyd: Klopp won't admit the title chase is over for the other Premier League teams, but VAR has decided Liverpool are champions.
Angus McClymont: If there is a power outage at Stockley Park aka VAR central, does the game get postponed as the ref has to think for himself?
Liverpool 1-0 Wolves
A ball from Mohamed Salah finds its way to Sadio Mane in the area, who goes down under the challenge of Jonny.
The Senegal forward went down too easily according to ref Anthony Taylor.
In all fairness, there weren't many protests.

Roberto Firmino had more time than he realised. It looked like Mohamed Salah would shoot initially and I think that's what caught his Liverpool team-mate off guard a little.
Man City v Sheff Utd (18:00 GMT)
Pep Guardiola reacts to Manchester City's capitulation at Wolves on Friday by making three changes - and gives a first Premier League start to 18-year-old Spanish defender Eric Garcia.
There is a rare start for Ukraine midfielder Oleksandr Zinchenko while Claudio Bravo starts in goal for the suspended Ederson.
Man City XI: Bravo, Walker, Garcia, Fernandinho, Zinchenko, Rodri, Bernardo Silva, Mahrez, De Bruyne, Sterling, Aguero.
Substitutes: Gundogan, Gabriel Jesus, Mendy, Joao Cancelo, Otamendi, Carson, Foden.
Three changes too for Sheffield United.
Muhamed Besic makes his first start in midfield since signing on a season-long loan from Everton.
Forward Callum Robinson is recalled along with French forward Lys Mousset. John Lundstram is not involved in the 18 while David McGoldrick and Oli McBurnie drop to the bench.
Sheffield United XI: Henderson, Basham, Egan, O'Connell, Baldock, Besic, Norwood, Fleck, Stevens, Robinson, Mousset.
Substitutes: Freeman, McBurnie, Sharp, Jagielka, McGoldrick, Verrips, Osborn.
Liverpool 1-0 Wolves
Another swift Liverpool move involving their attacking trio ends with Roberto Firmino scooping his shot from the edge of the area over the bar - he has yet to grace Anfield with a goal this season.

As a neutral, the same as the City v Wolves game on Friday, I've now turned this game off at half-time. VAR has turned the game into a farce.
Richard in London
Ridiculous, baffling, bemusing, absurd, ludicrous, laughable... I am running out of words for VAR.
Curtis in Sheffield
Disgraceful decisions. VAR is an absolute joke.

Adama Traore was excellent against Manchester City. Can he cause problems for Liverpool's defence today?
Andy Robertson likes to get forward so there will be spaces left in behind for Traore to run into if Wolves play their cards right.
Liverpool 1-0 Wolves
Adama Traore and Romain Saiss are on for Ruben Neves and Leander Dendoncker.
Traore has been scintillating this season - can he turn the game?
