Allan Done: Thought Nuno had given this one up when I saw team selection, but can now see his tactics: Hold Liverpool for 70 minutes to 0-0 then bring on Jimenez and Traore to win it as the home side tire.

I think Mohamed Salah is up for it today. When Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp substituted him against Leicester City he was snarling a little bit so it's got him motivated to face Wolves.

What a move that was! The ball didn't even touch the ground.

Virgil van Dijk over the top, headed on by Sadio Mane, volleyed by Mohamed Salah.

    Magnificent.

I think that counter attack was Liverpool at their best. After Wolves lost the ball they were threatening the goal at the other end. Wolves have largely negated Liverpool so far.

Wolves are pressing high rather than let Liverpool come forward to be met by a wall of orangey gold.

That tactic will obviously mean more gaps at the back - Mohamed Salah has another sighter, but this time his clean volley is easily collected by the Wolves keeper.

Wolves are definitely here to play and they have shown plenty of times what they can do with the ball.

But that break from Liverpool - one ball into Mohamed Salah from Trent Alexander-Arnold the catalyst - is all it takes for the hosts to break teams down.

That is their weapon and they will get chances from it. So far, Wolves are dealing with it nicely.

Liverpool break once more - led by the dynamic trio.

The move ends with Roberto Firmino firing a shot from the edge of the area that takes a deflection en route to Rui Patricio's gloves.

    The Reds have a corner.

Gini Wijnaldum smacks a half from 13 yards out which flies a few feet clear of Rui Patricio's bar.

    Matter of time isn't it?

Wolves seem relatively comfortable at the moment although Mo Salah looks dangerous for Liverpool.

A swift Liverpool move looks like it's going to end with Mohamed Salah making the net ripple, but the linesman spots that the Egyptian forward had strayed off.

At least Wolves haven't parked the bus - they want to make a game of this.

Jurgen Klopp is frustrated by those two handball calls, which were both correct. It's because his players did the right thing - pressing, squeezing out the space and putting the Wolves' defence under pressure.

Nuno Espirito Santo is gesturing to his players to switch the ball around the back and throw one over the top, down the line.

That tactic worked very well against Manchester City, of course.

Paul Bernal: No matter what happens today, this has been a fabulous year for Wolves. My light in the darkness for the last few years.

Bob Moss: Come on Wolves, pull of a Christmas miracle and get three points.

Ar Vind: Clever team selection by Wolves. Liverpool struggled against 3-5-2 against United. Lallana needs be stronger.

    Mohamed Salah must score! Noooo!

The Egyptian's attempted tap-in from TAA's low ball clears the bar.

He was about six yards out.

    Anfield is LOUD.

Home fans have done two renditions of "we are the champions of the world."

The Kop has a lovely purple sky behind it in the background too. The noise went up another level with that chance for Trent Alexander-Arnold a few moments ago.
