Manchester United have lost 12 of their last 13 Premier League away games when they have trailed by two or more goals at half-time, winning 3-2 at Manchester City in April 2018.

Manchester United were the better team for the opening 26 seconds, when Marcus Rashford had a shot on target - their only effort of the half.

But Arsenal completely dominated the final 44 minutes and 34 seconds.

The half-time whistle goes. Arsenal have been excellent and fully deserve this lead.

It was a very good corner kick, but it's that willingness to get across defenders. Arsenal look hungry which they haven't had for some time. The delivery was really top class from Pepe and a slight header from Alexandre Lacazette and it was emphatically finished by Sokratis Papastathopoulos who has smashed it home from close range.

Three Arsenal shirts surround Nemanja Matic to win the ball off the United player. Such a loud roar from the home fans who are loving this.

Nicolas Pepe looks very lively for Arsenal here. He's scored a goal, put a few dangerous balls into the penalty area and given some them energy. He looks sharp. Arsenal are on top here, but we saw what happened against Chelsea so they will they want a second goal.

Good block by Harry Maguire to put behind Ainsley Maitland-Niles' cross. United had been torn open there.

Another good Arsenal move but Nicolas Pepe can't get on the end of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang's cross.

I was going to say based on this performance it's time to sign Nicolas Pepe for your fantasy football team. But I see he's £9.1m so maybe not.

That was brilliant play by Lucas Torreira!

EXCELLENT spell from Arsenal. Lucas Torreira has a crack from about 20 yards out but it's just wide. David de Gea looked troubled.

Alexandre Lacazette almost scores an excellent goal. But it's a throw-in. Nicolas Pepe finds the Frenchman, who almost goes down but still manged to turn Harry Maguire - but then he drags his shot so far wide it's a throw.

Now it's Marcus Rashford on Ainsley Maitland-Niles, another United foul.

Paul Clarke: What do people expect of a Man Utd team with the midfielders we have? Simply don't have the players in engine room, and won't change until the summer. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has to make do until then, which will mean up and down results.

Mic Medeska: Jesse Lingard must be absolutely lights out amazing in training or have secret pictures and using them as blackmail to keep getting on the pitch. Offers nothing.

Kyle: Good start from Arsenal but this has the feel of the game on Sunday they have to score a second or a third. With this defence and with the pace and power and skill Manchester United have up front they will score goals tonight.
