    Leicester 1-1 Southampton

Encouraging stuff from Southampton as Shane Long draws a save out of Kasper Schmeichel with a low effort. It was a pretty routine save for the Leicester goalkeeper but the Saints are creating opportunities.

  2. 'Man Utd midfield utterly dominant'published at 15:38 Greenwich Mean Time 11 January 2020

    Man Utd 1-0 Norwich

    Pat Nevin
Former Chelsea and Scotland winger on BBC Radio 5 Live

Norwich are being outplayed in midfield. I asked a lot about the Manchester United midfield before the game but so far they have been utterly dominant.

Fred has won most of the stuff in there and Matic has just cruised through the game.

The Norwich players just can't get involved.

  3. Postpublished at 15:38 Greenwich Mean Time 11 January 2020

    Man Utd 1-0 Norwich

Norwich are definitely missing the presence of Teemu Pukki in attack, nothing is sticking for them in the final third on the rare occasions they do attack. Very comfortable for Manchester United so far.

    Tammy Abraham

A shocker from Nick Pope as Tammy Abraham rises to meet Reece James' cross and head the ball goalwards.

It goes right through the Burnley keeper's hands.

    A gift.

  5. goal

GOAL - Everton 1-0 Brightonpublished at 15:37 Greenwich Mean Time 11 January 2020

    Richarlison

A wonder goal from the Brazilian!

Lucas Digne finds Richarlison - back on the pitch after treatment to a knee injury - who evades a couple of challenges before bending past Mat Ryan.

    Goodison Park is bouncing.

  6. CLOSE!published at 15:35 Greenwich Mean Time 11 January 2020

    Chelsea 1-0 Burnley

    How did that stay out?

Ben Mee goes up for a header and it's creeping in before Ross Barkley somehow hacks it off the line.

Terrific response from Burnley since falling behind.

Shane O'Neill: United’s left-footed players doing the business today. Mata, Williams, and Matic all excellent so far.

Javel Bleach: I'm wondering does Rashford want money or trophies? Way ahead of anyone else at ManUtd!

  8. GREAT SAVE!published at 15:34 Greenwich Mean Time 11 January 2020

    Wolves 1-1 Newcastle

How has he kept that one out!?

Martin Dubravka makes a superb save as he denies Raul Jimenez's header from three yards out with his knee.

    Newcastle hanging on.

  9. 'Such a good ball' from Matapublished at 15:33 Greenwich Mean Time 11 January 2020

    Man Utd 1-0 Norwich

    Garth Crooks
Former Tottenham Hotspur striker on BBC Final Score

When you see that ball come in from Juan Mata, you’re laughing before you put the ball in the back of the net.

Marcus Rashford is having to keep a straight face, it’s such a good ball.

  10. 'Willian hits Lowton'published at 15:32 Greenwich Mean Time 11 January 2020

    Chelsea 1-0 Burnley

    Garth Crooks
Former Tottenham Hotspur striker on BBC Final Score

I think Lowton has gone in to tackle Willian and pulls out. He pulls his legs out of the tackle, but Willian hits Lowton and falls over.

The referee has fallen for it.

    Everton 0-0 Brighton

Signs Brighton are getting back into this after a slow start with Alireza Jahanbakhsh looking particularly lively.

Everton are currently down to 10 men while Richarlison goes off for treatment for a knee injury.

    Will he return?

  12. DISALLOWED GOALpublished at 15:32 Greenwich Mean Time 11 January 2020

    Leicester 1-1 Southampton

Jamie Vardy races through before finishing powerfully. The flag is up for offside, VAR has a little look and the lines come out to check if he was indeed offside. He clearly was and it stays 1-1.

  13. 'They deserve it'published at 15:32 Greenwich Mean Time 11 January 2020

    Man Utd 1-0 Norwich

    Pat Nevin
Former Chelsea and Scotland winger on BBC Radio 5 Live

Just one of the very few opportunities that Norwich have had to get upfield and of course that is what Manchester United were waiting for - the chance to break at pace.

Lovely ball from Mata, cutting in from the right side on to his left foot.

At the back post - just like a centre forward should be - Rashford is there with good pace but calm when the ball comes in.

Super goal, 1-0 up, they deserve it.

  14. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 15:30 Greenwich Mean Time 11 January 2020

    Wolves 1-1 Newcastle

A blow for Newcastle as they are forced into a second change. Dwight Gayle has picked up an injury and cannot continue. Christian Atsu is on in his place.

Paul Dummett had earlier been replaced by Florian Lejeune.

Please can someone at the Beeb ask for someone from VAR HQ to come on and explain why Everton did not get that pen?

    Gerard Ryan

What is the point of VAR? I mean really, why bother if all it does is introduce a load of new mistakes to officiating?

    Marcus Rashford (28 mins)

Marcus Rashford marks his 200th appearance for Manchester United with the opener!

It is put on a plate for the striker as Juan Mata delivers a peach of a cross to the far post and Rashford volleys home for his 13th goal of the season.

GOAL - Chelsea 1-0 Burnleypublished at 15:27 Greenwich Mean Time 11 January 2020

    Jorginho

    As cool as you like...

Jorginho takes a couple of steps and sends Nick Pope the wrong way.

Burnley have it all to do.

  18. Postpublished at 15:26 Greenwich Mean Time 11 January 2020

    Man Utd 0-0 Norwich

A rare Norwich attack as Todd Cantwell scampers forward down the left. He has a lot of space to attack and he flicks the ball into the area with the outside of his boot but Adam Idah is unable to connect.

  19. PENALTY TO CHELSEApublished at 15:25 Greenwich Mean Time 11 January 2020

    Chelsea 0-0 Burnley

    Matthew Lowton on Willian.

    Clear and obvious.

  20. Postpublished at 15:25 Greenwich Mean Time 11 January 2020

    Wolves 1-1 Newcastle

Wolves are looking to build on their equaliser and a free kick towards the far post is headed behind for a corner by Dwight Gayle. Newcastle then deal with the delivery from the set piece.
