Lovely ball in by Enda Stevens, who cuts out a clearance before crossing into the area. Lys Mousset gets on the end of it but heads over. Should have at least got that on target.

Brighton come forward again and draw Reina into his first bit of action. The keeper has to dart out to punch to prevent the ball falling to Trossard in the box.

Brighton almost capitalise on some ponderous defending from Villa as the away side's inability to clear leads to Neal Maupay seizing possession before firing over.

Aubameyang always seems to be in the right place at the right time. Lacazette is possibly a better all-round player but he needs to add that instinctive element to his game.

You can tell the ball is a little bit lose. I thought that West Ham would start immediately pressing like they did against Sheffield United. Instead the game has been a bit slow and and a bit scrappy.

Wolves start brightly and almost carve out an opening as Neto's cross finds Jonny but his control off his chest is too heavy and Saints can clear.

First chance of the game goes Arsenal's way as a ball from the left goes through to an unmarked Nicolas Pepe but he hits his shot into the ground and that takes a lot of the sting out of it. Comfortable save for Dean Henderson.

"They started the game well. We couldn't press them like we would like to but towards the end of the first half in the second half we started to create some really good chances.

"We could have won it, could have lost it. We know the margins are very small.

"As long as you go into the game with positive intent and get a committed performance we know we have the ability and the tools in the box to get enough results, but we have to do that week in, week out.

"I said to the players that I was really pleased with the way we approached this game and on another day we would have won it."

Palace’s players have just been practising their shooting, and for good reason.

Roy Hodgson’s side are the joint-lowest scorers in the Premier League with 20 goals from 22 games so far this season and, along with Watford, they are one of only two top-flight teams not to manage a league goal from outside the area in 2019-20.

The Eagles did of course manage one spectacular strike from distance when they last played here in December 2018 but - sadly for them - Andros Townsend, who smashed home a brilliant volley in their famous 3-2 win, is out injured at the moment.
